  • It's crazy how Plant and Page are in sync with each other during that solo.

  • can they just delete all the other dazed and confused live in denmark videos because this is the only one that has audio in sync with video

  • i love bonham in this recording

  • @metemi I agree

  • Love watching bonzo in this clip. Can really see him. I can't even think of any rock drummer today, or history that can touch his precision and intensity. Simply Put.... BRILLIANT...

  • Holy Shit. That's all I can say. No music today has balls even close to this.

  • play dazen!

  • at approximately 2:30 you see page doing hammerons , something that eddie vanhalen was credited with in the 80's to be the first to do so?just like the americans claiming that they captured the nazi enigma machine just more false propaganda!

  • I saw them in Syracuse new York in 1971, right after LZ III came out. 3 hours of magical mayhem. I was 14.

  • Wish someone had made a movie during the 1&2 period, leaving the mystical masturbation of "The song remains the same" to the boys beddy-by dreams.

  • Look at Bonzo at :18 on the drums. Pure emotion

  • I liked it when Robert Plant sang: "...gonna send you to Hell." better than "...gonna send you the bill."

  • There ain't nothing like this today!

  • john bonham is utterly brilliant

  • Extraordinary!!!

  • Classic!!!

  • paging dr. page...

  • Jimmy is on a Fender Telecaster here, which is a single-coil pickup guitar. Joe Walsh sold Jimmy the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Sunburst, which became Jimmy's famous staple axe through a lot of Zep. This guitar utilizes humbucking, or double-coil, pickups. These are fatter, quieter but not as biting as the Tele's single-coils.

  • If you listen to a lot of there stuff i believe Glen danzig and newer bands where very influeneced by there bluesy sound too.

  • 2:45 Paranoid black sabbath?

  • @KadeshLeMort 2:45 Dazed and Confused Led Zeppelin?

  • WIN FOR HUMANITY!!!!

  • They skip the Violin Bow part, but still GREAT! I like what Bonzo does around 3:36,sounds like he has Double Bass drums, but he could do that with just one foot!

  • 3 DRUNK FUCKERS!!!!!!!!! WERE DAZED AND CONFUSED HITTING THE DISLIKE BUTTON!!!!!!!

  • Page's dragon telecaster really was one hell of a guitar. The sound here is so awesome.

  • SIC!

  • absolute genius.....

  • What a cute hair Robert Plant has..lmao!

  • did anyone notice they picked up speed during the part that started at 1:15? still amazing but if you pay attention the riff gets faster and faster

  • mesmerizing!!!

  • I feel bad for John Paul Jones, he gets almost zero cam time but when you listen, a huge part of Zeps sound was the wall of bass always going on in the background. Good to see his face if only for a few secs.

  • @BlahBlahBlah55209 Not only was Jones the bassist, he was largely responsible for arranging Zeps music and if any other instrument was played besides the lead guitar or the drums, he played it. You're right, he never got the recognition he deserved. He's currently in a band with Dave Grohl and Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age in a band called "Them Crooked Vultures" You should check them out, he's oozed that Zeppelin sound all over it..

  • @BlahBlahBlah55209 page and plant pretty much screwed jones their whole time together. Not sure what was with the chemistry. But if you really followed this band over the years, it really is quite apparent.

  • thats not even the whole song. put up a new clip with the whole thing

  • To this day the greatest guitar player to walk the earth.

  • You can start to see the chemistry forming when Plant's vocals begin keeping up with Page's playing.

  • You can start to see the chemistry Plant's vocals start matching Page on the guitar.

  • yea you know what you're doing xx

  • Bonzo was a GOD

  • it mustve been crazy hearing this sound in 1968

  • Sheer brilliance!

  • 1 dislike =1 idiot

  • @UserNamei5 "no" what?

  • And this song will last up to 46 minutes by 1977

  • Bonhams a BEAST

  • i could go on for hours about them but i will leave it at this: Led Zeppelin was and is the best musical group that has ever played and they were ended in their prime with the death of the greatest drummer ever, John Bohnam. every one of the members of the band is the world's best at what they do and this song exemplifies that perfectly. Jimmy, John and John, and even Rob all going FUCKING crazy!!!!!!! honestly, this song makes me wanna cry sometimes because they could have made so many others.

  • @12fritsch pink floyd

  • @HomeMadeAbortionStew ya right....

  • OJO no esta entera, se ha recortado

  • @0:25 BEST fill of the song, g_d Damn, bonham was just tooooo good

  • thumbs up if got a scare from the "beep" sound at around 0:32 lol

  • @metallicarocks911 I got scare in 2:55 , LOOK JIMMY's FACE !!! O.O !

  • WOE! where did the other 5mins of the song go haha.

  • Awesome Why has no one mentioned John Paul Jones? Watch his hand speed from1 minute 30 onwards demon!

  • Mr. John Bonham is beating those drums like they stole something. i know i'll catch some flak for this but while them all were great Bonzo was the one that shone.

  • With all due respect for Rob what if Janis Joplin was singing this with the band here in her Monteray Pop Prime?!

  • I please read this: I was watching news and I realized that there's a guy who is a tenneager who is recieving a lot of atention on you tube -you know whose faggot am talking about- come on let's proof the world we are more let's place led zeppelin on the news. can you imagine ? "led zeppelin the most watched band on you tube" I think we are all about 20 millions or more lets all watch the LZ channel several times a day we can do it together

  • @LOVELED1 I get ya but it is a dull brained world. Why with all that the net n tech offers? dunno.............

  • @LOVELED1 yeah preach it :D

  • Where did you get this? :O

  • did bonzo break a mic?

  • John Bonham is on fucking fire! The live version is ten times better than the version from Led Zep. ( the album) 0:20-0:42!!!

  • Swear it. Every single damn time I hear this, I still get chills.

I was born way too late.

  • is this 1968? it's more likely to be early 1969...

  • wow they cut out the so many good parts of this vid, watch the full version. Bonzo is fucking mind blowing

search 'dazed and confused' it's the very first one

  • mind blowing.

  • They ripped off Jake Holmes. It's his song.

  • personally, i like early days to latter days

  • of course it's amazingly good. it's led zeppelin.

  • holy crap this is amazingly good!

  • god, try to cover bonzo. i wonder if you could. :P

  • great :) their best live performance for this song

  • have you seen the royal albert hall version? this is amazing but you gotta check that one out

  • this looks like it was before they recorded their first album, they were probably the New Yardbirds at that point, judging by how much is left out compared to the later versions,

  • the full version is on the Led Zeppelin DVD released in 2003...

  • the in color version of this song is better

  • they deserved to rip this song off!!

  • this was real music

  • triple dog wow. roberts voice, jpj's bass, bonham on drums, jimmy's tele, a beck present i believe. great stuff.

  • wow... listen to the fucking thunder of bonham. it is the greatest, wasted as fuck too. hell yeah rock and roll bitches

  • Just watch this...Raw Then came Zeppelin

  • OMFG ! look at John Paul Jones !

  • Bonzo is AMAZING in this vid!!

  • WOW... this sounds like a jam session, i mean that in a good way. It's quite genious, you can hear how much they start getting off beat from each other but always catch up really quickly. Lol, I think it's because Page sometimes gets all crazy and they others have to try to catch up with him.

  • Is page wearing a lab coat with Boxing Bands wrapped around his arm?

Say what you want Page had style. lol

  • @EuthanizeReligion look up jimmy page 1957 he wanted to be a biologist mayb thats y

  • right cause paranoid had been released in 1969

  • if you listen to the yard birds doing this with page you can hear page sounding like zepp and the other guys while good are holding the song back interesting to see how the right and better musicians, people can exploid together they also sound more polished

  • Early zeppelin was my favorite. No one played like that before page that I know of.

I didn't like how this song (and others) got way too long later in their career. page even once said he disliked that.

  • man that drummers frickin' brilliant.

  • zeppelin can keep the sweetest groove

    5/5

  • where dat nigga jones

  • (John Paul) Jones didn't like being filmed. He doesn't have a rock-and-roll sized ego. He just wanted to play killer bass, integrating his performance perfectly for each song, which he did...

  • Dat nigga jones(Baldwin) is one bad-ass mo fo on the bass....

Show some fucking respect for the greatest bassist in rock history.

  • Enwistle and Bruce would like a word with you, nonetheless JPJ is pretty humble for being in the biggest band in the world.
