I must say that anyone FOR this bill should indeed read it. After Y1(year one-2014) everyone who isn't grandfathered, which is everyone because it stipulates that your plan cannot change at ALL, that everyone will have to go to the "government option" when their plan changes. Every health plan changes every year. This will be the end of private insurance! This is a take over and has little to do with healthcare!

Oh most certainly the quality will decline for reasons like what happened this week at my wifes clinic. A 22 yr old brought her healthy 3 mo old baby in for the 15th time and claims the baby is bleeding internally. Although there is no evidence of this, the child has had every test used in medicine today run multiple times, she has been admitted to the hospital 2x and has had more than five ER visits. There is nothing wrong with this kid, but she has medicaid so it doesn't cost her a dime.

She gave herself away the last time she came in by saying "if you need to admit her to the hospital I'll just call work and tell them I need the rest of the week off" So basically this girl wants off of work and probably has not been employed long enough to have any paid time off and she wants someone to pay attention to her. Would she be pulling this stunt if it was costing her even a $10 copay ?How much do you think she has already cost the state? This will become the norm.

jjrglobal - they tried this kinda care already In = Hawaii. It had a huge budget/ allotment and was called Keiki Care. Kids all over all the islands could come in for LESS than $10.00 co-pay. It only lasted 7 MONTHS! Every one abused the system and flooded it and they ran out of money to pay the Docs in LESS than a YEAR!......and Obama drones will be right there - having the DOC look at their "sliver"...lol! In our state the Pharmacy tech said the medicaid peeps claim their MEDS are=lost! =LIE

The difference between the states trying this and the Federal government is that states are not allowed to run deficits, the Federal Government can print any shortfalls they might have, debasing our currency. one of my relatives has a friend who bought lots of land on the island of TRUK ( pronouched = CHEW-kuuaa) by locals. Others are looking to other countries where cost is cheaper. She just walked out of my office to go to the hospital to check on a newborn. She had been home about 5 minutes. She started at 7 this AM and skipped lunch got home at 9:30 Pm and back out at 9:35 to make the same as what I pay a derrick hand with no education a year, and the derrick hand works 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, so hes only there for six months out of the year. She will soon be leaving this liability of a career behind. I cant afford for her to be a doctor, its too risky.
