Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. JESUS CHRIST IS LORD
@lordmatt166 well if you install it in a home bar instead of dealing with installing a tap, you can reuse the cups. Also, most of the ballparks that use them charge the same amount for normal beers
this isnt such a great idea.. theres hardly any foam on that and the foam is there for a reason! not just for aesthetic appeal. the oxygen breaks down the beer faster this way and makes it go stale beacause theres hardy any foam to act as a barrier - also by realeasing carbon dioxide in the foam, it doesnt make you feel as bloated.
Just got a beer like this at a baseball game. The bottom does leak just a tiny bit but I paid the same as my boyfriend and his friends for this. They got the regular cups without anything as cool as this was!
so just touching the bottom will make you spill your drink. bad idea around drunk ppl or crowd were a slight tap makes you lose your 5$ beer. cups must also be way higher in price then regular ones.
@lordmat666 The cups use a magnet for the valve opening at the bottom, I doubt just tapping it will cause you to lose all of your beer (rather exaggerated). Even with the markup on the cups, you can pour booze faster because it fills from the bottom. This means you can sell higher quantities, up to 25% increased sales revenue is boasted on their webpage. Also, they make additional income with advertising on the cups.
But can it simultaneously cook a burger or hotdog? I thought not, waste of space, not to mention, beer at a sporting venue is pricy enough, let alone adding in the extra cost of the custom cups, id rather not have my wallet raped further for 1 drink sorry.
@RammNroLL well the burger and hotdog was a joke, but what im trying to say is with the new technology it will make drinking beer at sporting events even MORE ridiculously expensive than it already is.
@Specialized1989 How can it be more expensive? there is already a 1000% markup on beer so I think they will eat the extra cost of the cup to sell more beers.
@jscott1000 well thats the thing, since they mark it up 1000% any way, they can make the same profit off of these new cups which surely cost more to produce than just a regular plastic cup. So if the venue who uses these cups still makes the same profit off of beer, and the cups cost more to produce, then it only means that the cost of beer would go up as well.
Well...this actually sucks!!! Good help you if you rest a half full beer on the corner of your seat; when it gets halfway, the magnet tends not to work; it constantly leeks; it then gets on your seat...it looks cool but its a total mess!!! Don't be fooled, rushed to market without proper testing
@piontaton It should, because it comes from one of the shittiest towns ever... Montesano, WA.... I live about a half hour from it... Fuckin sucks. I love the machine tho! Awesome idea!
now i get it the circle thing he showed us has to be at the bottom or the cup all the time so when he pushes down on the metal thing the cup makes a hole and the beef pours then when the beer is done pouring the circle thing clogs the hole so the beer doesnt drip
I purchased one of these for my basement bar, and I've yet to have any complaints...I uploaded a party, along with us using Bottom's Up, and as you can see. . .Everyone LOVED it. . . Anyhow, please feel free to Subscribe to my channel. . . and comment on that video. .
@terrantankz Too gimmick? Do you know how much time and product is wasted by traditional beer taps? This is not intended for your neighborhood bar where the local barkeep has all day, it's made for sports arenas and events where speed and waste have a huge effect on profits. Not to mention the faster you go the happier your customers are and the more willing they are to return. This guy is going to make millions.
@ddaydawg It could be good for niegborhood bars too. If a bartender can meet the demands of a weekend rush, dinner rush or worse yet a surprise rush they won't need to have extra staff which can be a big problem for small bars.
awfull , i want my beer served the one and only genuine way , that is in a nice GLASS , not some plastic gizmo shit . and i am prepared to wait a little longer .
@Bruscarful oooooor, you would obviously reuse them? If they are 10 dollars a pop people will just have their glass refilled, no doubt saving on cleaning products as well as actual materials. I can only see this being a good thing.
@anthropreneur Well, well... that's a neat and classy solution (don't thank me yet)! ...which may just aswell be used with good ole GLASS cups. You meant bar owners should charge $10 for those too?
Cause honestly, I'm not used to see people throwing their empty pints on the wall after finishing their drinks. As I see it it's common sense that your glass in a bar is pretty much like war films teach us about your rifle: "Be good to it and it'll take care of you." (or smtn like this) :P
It sounds like a good idea, and I wonder if you can invest in this company??? But there is a down side to this, the waste from the plastic is bad for the environment which would probably double, and the magnets will be a big waste, and would they re-use the magnets that are left behind that are found on the ground ( that sounds disgusting), and that would probably raise the cost of beer at these sporting events!!!
@MADNEWYORKER914 : The cost of the cups is raised from 10 cents to 45 cents. I don't know how you're going to get around plastic at a sporting event. Anyone re-using magnets found on the ground deserves whatever is coming to them disease-wise.
@vdv00rt@MrMarcopolo12 And also I am shocked by the lack of foam on the beer, which is apparently a preference, concluding from this video's description. I'm also Dutch and I hate it when I get a beer in the pub without or with almost no foam...

The machine works by filling glasses through a hole in the bottom rather than by pouring from the top, a magnetic disk then seals the hole once the weight of the liquid is pumped in.
I just Don't Get It So.. How Does The Beer come Through Does It Make a Hole then Conseals It Again??? Because if they Just use A magnet They just Stick. and how the Fuck Does the Beer Enter Does It Scramble the Molecules of the Beer So that It CAn Pass Through the Plastic Cup???
There’s a magnet located in the bottom of the cup that can be pushed upward, and falls back into a slot on the bottom when released. When pushed up, the nozzle below fills it with beer. When removed, the magnet bonds to its slot at the bottom of the cup, preventing the beer from escaping.
@ixcuincle why would you want to drink beer out of plastic glasses? Or is that the way you drink beer in America? I can see the gimmick aspect of this glasses but nothing beats a traditional glass of beer with 2 fingers of foam...
@s4m2 Because it sucks drinking out of plastic glasses? In the Netherlands its normal to drink beer out of glass bottles at a house party. Tell me why we should use plastic cups instead...
@vdv00rt Plastic cups are cheaper so you can buy more and dispose of used/spoiled ones as the party goes on, you don't need somebody to do the dishes all night and you won't run out. Also, have fun cleaning up the shards of glass when some drunk person knocks or drops one onto the ground. You also never specified glass bottles, you were talking about glass cups. Furthermore, there is no such thing as "plastic glass".
@stormer55 No, he didn't. Not in the original comment to which I was replying. You are only reading the second reply in which he changed it to bottles. Select "see all" to view all of the comments posted and you will see "...a traditional glass of beer...".
@s4m2 Dude call the frikkin' grammar police! Im Dutch, English is not my native language. I just wanted to point out it would be dumb to buy plastic cups at a house party in holland because 99% of the time we drink it out of a glass bottle. And i think you would be suprised to see how cheap those glasses are when you buy a box of them at a local bar. By the way, i dont think these glasses are that cheap and i think its a waste of plastic! And is it really that hard to clean up broken glass?
@vdv00rt Again, you didn't say glass bottle, you refered to a glass cup. I agree, a glass bottle is the best of all. But back to the difference between a glass cup and a plastic cup, plastic cups purchased in packs are significantly cheaper than glass cups. Cleaning up broken glass isn't tough, but you have to be careful to not cut yourself and make sure you get all of the glass, especially if there is a carpet. It also takes time away from partying if you're a good host and clean it up.
@s4m2 Christ, you just dont want to see my point do you? Ofcourse plastic cups are cheaper and you can throw them away but the easy way is not always the best way! Its the same as using plastic bags at the mall or just buy a sturdy bag which you can use multiple times. The plastic bags cut in your fingers and you can only use them once. comfort & durability vs. cheap & disposable
@vdv00rt You just make a terrible argument for an unclear point, and also fail to see my point. Maybe we have a different idea between just what a house party is between our countries. I don't know, but regardless, I guess there's no reason in continuing this discussion.
unfortunately here in the USA, glass bottles at sporting events would result in uncountable fan deaths. mainly because stupid drunk americans love to fight, and a glass bottle makes a great weapon. a plastic cup is far less lethal, although you could probably still use it as a weapon. and budweiser is so bad that it tastes the same served in glass or plastic.
@redballyou Hey, drunks do much worse all the time. Frankly, this is going to be all across the country soon. It saves huge dollars on spillage, it's faster, and places are making money on the cups, because the magnets can be sponsored. It will, however, cost jobs at sporting venues, because the speed of fill will not require as many servers.
@salamanca1954 I hardly think so. There are other dispenders that can do it just as fast. Danish company Carlsberg already declined due to the cost of special cups comapred to normal costs.

@lordmat666 30cents higher per cup.
And as mentioned below, spillage is unlikely due to the way the system works
And the output is considerably higher (~56 cups/minute) than pouring by hand.

@s4m2 this discussion is probably the best example of miscommunication. Enjoy your house party's and plastic cup beers ;)

@vdv00rt I just go to pubs, not house parties anyways. :P Too many drunkwads. Enjoy your glass cups or bottles.

@vdv00rt
unfortunately here in the USA, glass bottles at sporting events would result in uncountable fan deaths. mainly because stupid drunk americans love to fight, and a glass bottle makes a great weapon. a plastic cup is far less lethal, although you could probably still use it as a weapon. and budweiser is so bad that it tastes the same served in glass or plastic.

@redballyou its magnetic? are you a troll?

@vdv00rt it is magnetic.

@redballyou if you are dumb enough ot waste beer like that you dont deserve to drink it

@redballyou Hey, drunks do much worse all the time. Frankly, this is going to be all across the country soon. It saves huge dollars on spillage, it's faster, and places are making money on the cups, because the magnets can be sponsored. It will, however, cost jobs at sporting venues, because the speed of fill will not require as many servers.
salamanca1954 1 year ago
@salamanca1954 I hardly think so. There are other dispenders that can do it just as fast. Danish company Carlsberg already declined due to the cost of special cups comapred to normal costs.

@redballyou then he ****in spills beer all over the place
360DOT 1 year ago
@redballyou you would have to essentially lift the weight of the beer with one finger in order for it to spill out.
cunje01 1 year ago
@cunje01 you forgot the force of the magnets.
krap101 1 year ago
@krap101 so the force of the magnets + the weight of the beer, you would probably end up spilling it before you actually pushed the cap through
cunje01 1 year ago
@redballyou then a drunk idiot would have a beer all over his lap... why would that deter everyone else from buying the beer?
