This type of racing is called Jet sprints started out in New Zealand where the Jet boat was born. Now it is big all round the world the yanks are pretty good at it as well.
I have personaly ridin in one of these and it makes you piss your pants. Hella fast. The driver wasnt driving as fast as these guess, but was close enough.
