i think and hope so. i'm sure they want to keep their european fans happy. :D

then i could interrail from here to england and see them live. wow, that would be a dream come true. : )

  • they reallllyyy need to make more music!!!!! :)

  • i think there working on a new album right now i think thats y they didnt tour this year

  • such an under-rated band

  • SO right!!!!

  • holy hot mama

  • how long have they been around/

  • they formed the band in 1986 and they're still going!

    Goo Goo Dolls forever!

  • wow so theyve been a band for 23 years?

  • yes they've been a band for 23 years but at first they had a different name, and at first they didn't have Mike Malinin(drummer), they had George Tutuska as a drummer.

  • I really couldnt agree more!! The goo goo dolls have been my favourite band for soo many years and they will continue to be, every single hit on every single album is a million times better than any wannabes now adays!!! .... johnny rzeznik is god <3<3 beautiful song also.

  • great camera shot

  • i love this song.

  • rock on!!!!! amazin

  • that is soooooo coool!

  • ahhhhh i absolutely love this song!

  • whoa it sounds like exactly the same as like the studio version or whatever

  • i agree with alex and wheelman....if only there where more bands like the goo goo dolls

  • Wheelman is totally right. If you look at the pop charts now, it's just mindless crap that is either inappropriate or derogatory towards others.

  • hes so sexy

  • Wow its so cool this is like the only band so far that souinds good live you know without all the stuff they do to them in the studios and stuff THIS band has actual talent

  • few bands actually sound good live. goo goo dolls, coldplay, radiohead, and of course u2!

  • Wheelman, you are 100% correct. This is one great song.

  • John very talented, This is one of my favourite songs from the goo goo dolls, he formed a great band. People should be grateful (:

  • this is the best song to come out of the pop charts since the millenium... bar none.... and by miles

  • Thank you John for staying true, and normal! You are cool! So very talented!

  • So deep & true; love it!<33

  • one of my favorites

  • I saw them in concert once and got a picture with them. When Johnny shook my hand I nearly cried

  • My favorite Christmas song EVER. Please listen to the lyrics. And so much credite goes to the band for playing New Orleans when they needed it most.

  • Merry Christmas to you and I hope you get all your wishes this year... WYE

  • Nice shot from the front

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • Totally love this band and song and JOHHNY!!!!! They are the best!!!!

  • was the first time to see them perform and was instantly hooked, this band just plain kicks major a88 live...great job filming it!

loved it when he smiles at ya'll.

thanks for coming to help out the gulf coast after hurricane katrina, free concert I might add, was a b8tch leaving coz we weren't staying for the game...don't even know who played the saints that day, coulda cared less, was in music heaven!

  • excellent song. i listen to it before all my hockey games and i can wait for the sabres to start again! LETS GO BUFFALO 07-08.!!

  • i love this song!!!!! AMAZING!!!

  • I LOVE HIM !

  • i was in that crowd, it was so packed!!! i get nightmares from how packed it was lol

  • love this song

  • Thanks. I noticed that ESPN's coverage of this song omitted the "And the one poor child who saved this world" lines, and wondered if ESPN had edited it out or if the Goos had skipped it. Your vid shows that it was ESPN editing.

  • Actually, they performed the song twice... They sang this first, which was filmed for ESPN and shortly thereafter played back on the air, and last, which was just for the crowd. This filmed performance was their last song, and not the one shown on ESPN.

  • Aha, thanks for the info :-)

  • amazing, they are so great live. u got good seats :P

  • Johnny Looks like he is having a good time like he usually does

  • @mouchie i noticed that too! he's grinning from ear to ear lol!

  • great song and band

  • This concert looks like it was really good! Gorgeous day too for a concert!! and this song is aweeesomeeee i loveee Goo Goo Dolls!!

  • I saw Goo Goo Dolls on Year years Eve a few months ago. It was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had!

  • goo goo dolls are great

  • kool

  • This is great. haha It's kinda funny tho cus he forgot the words a bit at the beginning. but he can do that :) he did write the song :P

  • amazing. am i right in saying they wrote this song expecially for new orleans disaster?

  • No. The song had already been written, and I think Johnny has said that it has something to do with Christmas. I do think that the song is the reason they were asked to perform at the reopening of the Superdome, and they did perform this song for broadcast on ESPN before the game.
