I can see how bcolborn would think that, but I doubt Cuber would have anyone on tour who wasn't top shelf. (I'll pass on the fatty - I need my lungs to play bari)
I agree with Tom and I know Tom a long time and he's got GREAT ears .. he's engineered sessions that i've played on. Steve is very sensitive to music and is the GLUE that binds this band together... 10 stars to the master of swing... it's a glitch my friend... that's all... BCOLBORN...just kick back roll up a fatty and enjoy the music.. it's top shelf!
is this an arrangement of Work Song?
or did Cuber just slap that in the solo

No. As mentioned in the first comment way back, on this video, it's Horace's "Tokyo Blues."

Same, but I would agree on it being a weird edit, but I do wish that Ronnie could have a longer solo.

It looks like Ronnie wasn't feelin' the drummer's time at the end of his solo. He gives him a wierd glance at 1:35

As an engineer I've worked with both Ronnie and Steve Johns. That glance was one of satisfaction-he was digging it!!

Don't think so. He looked like he wasn't finished with his solo and wanted to keep blowing. Or that was a wierd edit
