  • fantastic song, brings back great memories !!

  • Just want to say, I'm only 16 but appreciate 50's and 60's music more than that bullshit they play on the radio today. Nobody gives a flying fuck about Lady Gaga's alleged penis or autotuning.

  • Reminds me of Debbie Reynolds and Rory Emerald. Awesome!

  • genius music....i hate the modern crap, no talent at all.

  • your listening to the wrong "modern crap"

  • okok, not all modern crap are crap but most of it are x)

  • mainstream, yes.thats why i listen to lot of old music myself, but there is acctualy quite alot of good music made recently. tsi just really hard to find

  • hippies fucked up big time and destroyed music from late 1966 up untill 1978 when most of them were dead from drug abuse

  • @26highstreet

    Finally, someone who agrees!

  • ilove this song

  • The '50s and '80s ROCK!!!!

The '60s (Acid and hippies) and '70s (Disco) SUCK!!!!

Skip past the '60s and '70s!

  • The hippies listened to Acid music. Unlike the '50s, you can barely even hear the words and it has no real beat. And yeah, hippies had fun alright while they died in the process of doing drugs!

  • Something about this tune drives me crazy

  • I love these oldies but goodies. This modern rap "music" is junk.

  • 1000*****************

  • This was always the first song they played at the "Sock Hops" I went to in school. They were called that because they were held in the school gym where you couldn't wear shoes(because it would scuff the floor)so everyone danced in their socks.

  • Sarah Palin was called every heinous invective one could think of last year - and almost all of it came from the self-described 'tolerant' liberally-minded among us. Feminist pundits were vicious towards her, several telling her she should 'stay in Alaska and take care of her kids'....it looks like the 'sexism' of the 1950's didn't go away; it simply changed political stripes.

  • It had nothing to do with sexism. She was abused for being an idiot attempting to become powerful. That's dangerous AND hilarious.

  • Very clearly, part of it had to do with 'politically correct' sexism. Feminist pundits, like Sally Quinn of the Washington Post and others, had the audacity to question why Palin was running for office when she had several children, including an infant, at home.

Do you think ANY pundit would have asked that question of, say, any liberal female politician? Of course not!

Sarah Palin was mocked because liberals - who profess 'tolerance' - are among the most intolerant of all.

  • No, she was mocked for being absolutely imbecilic. By, I might add, members of the Republican party. Stop trying to stick up for her, she's an idiot. Start over..

If the democratic party had put forward someone unequivocally stupid and unqualified I would not have held back for a second to outline how absurd it would be.

  • She was mocked - because that's reflective of the hearts of the people who mocked her.

    Sarah Palin did nothing wrong.

If one didn't like her, they didn't have to vote for her - it's as simple as that. But NOTHING she did warranted the hatred that poured out of people's minds and hearts....

...and, sadly, we live in a society that features, and virtually salutes, mean-spirited invective and hatred.

  • She was mocked for being an IDIOT.

    Christ you're dense...

Even Bill-o had someone on his show to outline the face that she didn't know Africa was a continent.. She had only left the country once.

Fuck you appear to be as stupid as she is.

  • She's bright enough to be elected governor of a state. She enjoys one of the highest approval ratings of ANY elected official in the nation. She attracts not only thousands of supporters at every public appearance - but also the media, who give her NOTHING but disdain, but continue to follow her every move......and then, of course, there's someone like yourself - who not only mocks her but resorts to the name-calling and vulgarity that one has come to expect from liberals.

    How pathetic.

  • Haha, that's adorable. You have unequivocally the dumbest politician to EVER be in the spotlight, and instead of being ashamed and trying to move on, you have a selection of knuckle-dragging right-wingers trying to stand up for her because she brought her retard baby to term.

    Clap fucking clap, you moron.

  • I'm sure there is good psychiatric help available in your area....

    Have a good life!

  • what high school did you drop out of, loser?

  • aaah lovely 50s....

  • Great upload. My mom talks about how when she was like early 60's u could fill up your gas tank and buy a pack of cigarettes all for a dallor.

  • Well, considering that most people probably earned 8 dollars a week, it's not all that impressive!

  • well the value was more then...

  • mezditz is a SQUARE

  • oh wow what a great find

loved it from the day i first brought it

  • I'm in a show and this is the opening number AMAZING!

  • I don't really like this kind of music i'm more of a death metal/hip hop person. But Damn this song is good as hell :)

  • then why in the world did you click on it?

  • "Classic" I love this music. It is not from my generation but my parents. I love the stories of my mom in a classic poodle skirt, saddle shoes and sweater....

  • Well, I wasn't a mom, but I also wore the poodle skirt, saddle shoes, adler socks and mohair sweater. The 50's and 60's were the best, and I wish the music and the attitude were back. Hate hip hop!!!

  • the hip hop fad is just as lame in its own way as your poodle skirt and saddle shoes lady

  • Aren't you so sweet. What are you so angry about?

  • hey im not angry, you are the one who said you hated hip hop. why would you hate an entire lifestyle/culture unless you were the one who is angry

  • fine point, sir!

  • nothing beats the 50's and the 60's

  • So very much agreed!

  • LOL! didn't sha na na make a remake!

~i like this one better! C=

  • good music in youtube :)

  • This is Brilliant !!! when Music was good :)

  • this is my song to my dance in Jazz !

    i love it !

  • This had to be the best rock and roll song to dance to in the 50's.

  • Er, I meant mismatch their bodies>

  • Err, I mean their bodies?

  • "Away with this devil music," they'd say back in the day.

"Away with this devil music," they'd say about Lady GaGa nowadays. But at least the former is a ton better than GaGa's Poker Face or Disco Stick song, whatever it's called.

Is it just me or do their heads on the album cover mismatch their heads?

  • we would dance to this at the High School dance back in the day. we had fun just being at the dance looking for the girl you liked and the cool cars crusing by with the music of day.we didn't worry about no drive by shootings or people high on drugs.the most trouble we got into was smoking a cigarette on the school grounds and even that was big trouble.we will never see those days again ever I' m just glad I was able to live during that time as a teenager.we had our burger joint after school.

  • jasså jul! plötsligt står man där förvånad varje år december månad :P :D

  • Wtf? Why did you write that and how did you come up with it? I thought it was hillarious ^^ (Jag är svensk med ja)

Oh, for you others, it was a reply.

This song rocks :D I love rock n roll :D

Btw does anyone know why Danny shot himself?

  • depression and drugs

  • Okay thanks.

  • What language is that? What does it mean?

  • Its Swedish 'svensk' means swedish in swedish, but I don't know apparently It says something about a 'star' and 'december' (chrismast tree I asume) probably the guy did something funny in december I don't know; but I don't think it has anything to do with this video since:

Wtf? Why did you write that? is not something you would expect if it had some sort of link.

  • Oberhammer...kann gut verstehen das selbst meine Mum dabei heute immer noch abgeht ;0)

    Total geil...

  • The Savage Nation on rock n roll friday..

  • another of my favorite 45's i love both this and the b-side "Sometime" (i think)
