@ILikeLipstick I dunno, all rap I have ever heard just fills out every black stereotype, usually carries the subject of sex and drugs, flaunt their money and raise themselves higher than anyone else. I've heard some 'rap' that doesn't go to that extreme, but it's all just annoying to me. The genre and the artists alike.

@TheDeathOfChaos Yeah, you've been listening to the wrong rap. Most mainstream rap is what you mentioned (but what's wrong with a fun song about feeling like a G? haha), but there is a lot of really meaningful rap. Rap is just a form of vocalization, and not all rappers are black or filling a stereotype. My friend knows a lot more about rap than I do so I can't recommend you much but they're out there. The rap group I'd recommend would be Epik High, but they're not to everyone's tastes.
