CQ, Ahhh, thanks again dude. The 250K will work with 12 volts?
I've got another question for you, if you don't mind. I've got one of those piezo electric grill starters here and I want to use the joule flyback HV or KV or oscillation or spark to trigger the piezo crystals. How can I make this shit vibrate or ignite using the 1.5v JT, and what added power (overunity) or amperate/wattage will the piezo add?
don't you have a breadboard dude?.....cool stuff btw.

Will static electric field or radiant Kv atmospheric capacitance ignite the piezo crystals? Florescent bulbs? Spark Tube?

(A) It's 250 ohms not 250 Kohms.
(B) As I said earlier, the manufacturer recommended 6v max from base to emmitter. If you want to use 12v be my guest.
The BBQ starters work on a different principle there are NO flybacks in your grill.
