  • China should let the UN or other human rights inspectors see if their occupation is oppressive to Tibetan culture and religion, Otherwise this kind of publicity is just propaganda. China is a juggernaut, apparently too big to be subject to the standards of the civilized world. If it is not too late, the world community should respond to China's lack of compassion with sanctions, and boycotts.China, the world is watching. Do you care?

  • Propaganda. If things r really what the CCP is claiming y not allow UN human rights to independently investigate?

  • Yes, nikkich01, the Tibetan plateau is very high, but many, many Han Chinese have emigrated there to start new lives. For most it takes one week for your body to adjust. I have been there. It took 5 days!

The Tibetan people are captives in their own land for sure and are an ever schrinking minority especially now that the train has begun to bring more each day to settle there. Tibet is beginning to look like most of China. Modern with lots of concrete.

  • 90% yes, but that does NOT include soldiers! There are plenty of cases of students being beaten for speaking Tibetan in school, and plenty of cases of forced sterilizations and castrations. Either way, noone really knows, beacause the only people allowed in are pro-china journalists.

  • If you admit that you don't know why do you say things like "plenty of cases"? We do know that there are schools in Tibet that teach exclusively in Tibetan. We do know that Tibetans have a larger average family size than the Han.

So ultimately, instead of just shouting alarmist propaganda either visit China or shut up.

  • My cousing visited China, and was arrested (for holding a banner!), and this was after he first visited and saw with his own eyes, and talked to Tibetans, who told him just this. What do family sizes have to do with human rights? Is this from "CCP's Quick Facts on Tibet?" hahaha.

  • Yes, and massive migrations of Han Chinese into the region makes sure that Tibetan culture remains a minority. More Chinese propaganda.

  • Have you been to China? The Tibetan plateau is not someplace people can migrate to. Its height makes oxygen scarce, so people who do not grow up there and are unused to its environment often suffer from altitude sickness and die from it. Massive migration of Han Chinese is not possible because of the environment, it is just another lie cooked up the those who would use the excuse of cultural genocide to split China.

  • nikkichi is tibet washed freak

  • What the hell are you talking about? There are still 90% population is Tibetan. Chinese are free to travel to anywhere they like to. Can the American Indian stop other people to live in their places? Grow up. You are confused, my friend. You have been fed with too much distorted information. Or you are just a China hater!
