nice vid, some great sounds and sweet riffs, likming the recorded full band style bit. I might get one of these when they come out. I already have a 333xl> if this is as good or better, which i'm sure it is im game..
I love this amp, but it's taking way too long to come out. When i first heard of it, i was all pumped, but now i'm tempted to go elsewhere for an amp. Which i don't really want to do cause i love my Bugera BC30, but need a more versatile and heavier amp for my new band, so the TRIREC would be stellar! Just please hurry up with it!
This new line of Bugera amps have been "hitting store shelves any day now" for over a year. By the time they actually make it to the stores, our grandchildren will be the first to test them out.
@MrPomeroyWatson Many INFINIUM amps are currently shipping. We actually have a lot of happy 333-INFINIUM and 333XL-INFINIUM owners out there. the 6260-INFINIUM and 6262-INFINIUM are beginning to make an appearance on store shelves as well. :)
@bugera That's great that the 333XL and 6260/6262 models are on the shelves... but I kind of want something that I don't already have. Maybe you should try releasing the newer models first. ESPECIALLY the TriRec, Magician, and the new 1960 Infinium.
@guitarmaster205 You know, every once in a while I hear a guitar riff emanating from our video department, and I can't help but wonder what they're doing in there... In the meantime, there are a lot of really amazing end user 333XL demos on YouTube that are worth searching out. :)
@LeaveMeTheFkAlone all three have their strong points...the range of tones you mentioned is pretty wide, to be honest. If you want versatility, the 333XL and TRIREC will have you covered.
Loving everything about this amp. Been compiling a list of possible amps to be my first tube amp when I can afford it and this has jumped way up that list. Everything I've seen and heard about Bugera has been backed up by the product's quality.
@MatheraThrash depends on what kind of thrash you're talking about.... for an old-school "Kill 'Em All" type sound, the 1990 is good. For a more modern sound, I'd recommend either a 6262 or a 333XL. :)
@guitarmaster205 If I'm understanding your question correctly, the 333XL and TRIREC are both great sounding amps. There are some differences as far as the voicings -- the TRIREC has a monster low-end, the 333XL has more prominent mids. Both amps have formidable amounts of gain on tap. :)
wooow what an awesome amp!! im from portugal.. where can i get one of this?? the exact name is bugera trirec infinium?? cause i searched for bugera 6262 infinium.. is this the one?? cause i want this from the video.. awesome amp..
hey guys, just out of curiosity, a friends bugera 1990 (non infium model) messed up on him (as well as many other people) and i was wondering if the infinium series has fixed those problems (not playing anymore, loud intolerable hissing etc)
@TheFunnyzach We've done a lot of testing on the INFINIUM line (a big part of the delays, actually) and have taken into consideration all of the problems the earlier amps have had. The new amps will be very reliable!

@JOETIBBS83 If you're in the US, you can pre-order the 6262-INFINIUM from any of the usual suspects... GC, Musician's Friend, Sweetwater, your local Bugera dealer, etc.
@bugera Thats strange because because the only bugera amps i ever see on their website is the vintage series, the 1960, and the 1990. I have always wondered why i never see amps such as the 333xl or the 6262 being sold in guitar center. (Or at least on their website).
@bugera Well, i have noticed this on guitar center since i had discovered bugera last year. I have only seen the vintage series, the 1960, and the 1990. I wonder if its like some kind of special order thing where you have to call them up to have it specially ordered. The only major online music store i can think of that sells amps such as the 333xl and the 6262 are American Musical Supply.
Yeah, that's what happens when they scoop the mids. I wish people would get it through their heads that 90% of your guitar's tone lies in the midrange, and scooping it is just stupid. Especially when recording an amp demo...
Hey everybody, i just saw on American Musical Supply (Dot) c o m That the Bugera Trirec is expected to come December 16th! Just a week after my 17th birthday :D
Hi, spoke with Thomann again today, they told me I must wait until February/March 2012. When I asked them why they don't have it in November, they said "it's Bugera that gives us the dates"...
I can't wait for March.. That's another 4 months. And some Bugera dealers in Belgium even say they won't sell any Infinium amp..
@neilxpeart We should have some updated shipping information on the TRIREC in the coming weeks. Sorry about the delay, we're just as excited as you to finally get this one out there!
Hi, I have today spoken with a number of distributors in The UK including DV247 and also Thomann in Germany and they have said that they cannot get any of the new Infinium range of amps until December/January at the earliest.
There could be a lot of disappointed players if "Santa Bugera" dosen't show...!
Where is the boat Bugera with all your new amps on board........?
So when will the 333xl Infinium hit the shelves? I've read they shipped before the TriRec. Supposedly I prepaid for one at an online retailer weeks back after trying to order the 333XL and later told there was a delay in my order due to the Infinium upgrade. Not exactly a good way for them to do business. I didn't ask for my money back so I hope it's worth the wait.
@bugera Hi there guys, I would like to if the cost will raise from the older models of these amps, to these new ones with INFINIUM tech? If it does raise, how much will that be?
@LostKeysOnARainyDay The street price of the INFINIUM models with be about $50USD more per amp here in the US, not sure how much the cost will be affected in other countries, but it shouldn't be that much!
@ScreamynDemon Agreed. It could've sounded really good if they had put the mids to at least 12 'o clock. Knowing how that would affect the sound, the Modern & Vintage channels would beat the crap out of my ENGL.
I agree with Danimallindustries on the vintage sound. That is the tone I've been looking for and for a long time. You guys will have a killer amp line up now come November! The 2:10-2:13 part of the video gets me every time! This amp colors the natural guitar sound so well. I can only imagine what it will sound like in person! You know Bugera gets crap for "modeling other amps" but I think the infinium technology is just what your company needs to get an edge and eye opener to other amp makes!
Please could you tell me when can I obtain this Head Amplifier and what is the current price (in the year of 2011) in England, UK? Also, what Music Shops/UK Distributors in the UK have actual stock of this Head Amplifier?
@ziggystardust48 Hi! It will be available in November for around €550. Cheers! Check out our "Where to Buy" section on the BUGERA website to find a dealer. YouTube won't let us post a link...
I hate to sound like a douche, but I think when you're demoing your amps, you need to increase your mids.. it makes your amps sound like cheap dime amps from dean.
@GiveInToMetal We've made vast improvements to our stuff in the past year or so, largely due to some awesome new testing gear we installed in the factory—and also because of feedback from guys like you! :)
Is the price really going to be £500 in the UK, and is it just the head or cab included?
I'm looking to get a Mark Tremonti kind of sound/tone when he plays with Alter Bridge, would this amp get me there? And honestly, how well does this take pedals and effects units? I'm looking to use them in the FX loop instead of through the front.
@EA369 Just the head, cab not included, and should be available in the £500 price range. It takes pedals very well, and use of the FX loop is totally up-to-you! :)
You guys ought to send one to Ola Englund (@fearedse) to test out. His amp demos and walkthroughs are top notch, and judging by how he liked the 6262, I'm sure he'd love to do it!
@AndyBloodtooth There are currently no plans to release the MAGICIAN as a head, but you are not the first person to ask for it! I have let the product development team know.
@josephvincentguitar Any of our high-gain amps can get you in that ballpark. 333, 6200 series, TRIREC, or 1990. The TRIREC is our most versatile amp, however, and if you want to really dial in a signature tone, it may be your best choice!
@jboner668 'Nope, till November. But think on the bright side. they are trying to make sure their product comes out of the factory perfect with no problem at all.
@SuperGuitarMark It can get very close, since the twin also uses 6L6 tubes, but the twin has a chimier, more trebly tone and the TRIREC is a bit warmer. That said, due to the gain knob and clean/drive switch, it can get a wide variety of clean and gently driven tones on channel 1 alone. Cheers!
@roryl9409 Yes and no; some of it ships as early as July! You will be able to get the 6262, 6260, or 333 INFINIUM amps after they ship in July. TRIREC and MAGICIAN will ship late September. Regarding the other INFINIUM models, we've yet to hear a firm date. Stay tuned... :)
@bugera Is that the same for us people in the UK, because i am aware there has been some shipping issues? And will the 333xl infinium not be shipping in July?
@roryl9409 Yes, give or take. When we say "ships in July," that literally means "The boats leave the China factory in July." Arrival dates around the globe will vary. :) The 333XL is not currently scheduled to ship along with the 333, 6262, or 6260.
It says in the description about the reverb being at 11 o' clock, was that for every single channel? i could see that affecting the sound as kingdark0 was talking about.
@bugera No I haven't, I wanted to check it out at SXSW but a change in our tour plans wound up making that an impossibility unfortunately. From the comments and things I've seen and heard online from people who did check it out though, the amp seems quite promising. I have played other model Bugera amps in the past and been impressed, so I'm very interested to hear the Trirec in person someday.

bugera 7 months ago
@bugera That's impossible. What sorcery is this. £495?! That's a brilliant price for what is made out to be a Mesa B triple rec.
SydDante 7 months ago
Price?
theantarex 7 months ago
@theantarex Around $799 USD!
bugera 7 months ago
You guys ought to send one to Ola Englund (@fearedse) to test out. His amp demos and walkthroughs are top notch, and judging by how he liked the 6262, I'm sure he'd love to do it!
ShredmastaZ 7 months ago 52
@ShredmastaZ Ola is great, we agree!
bugera 7 months ago
@ShredmastaZ
Yeah, let him mix a song with that Amp, he is by far the best guy for testing amps and showing people how to get a good tone out there on the tube.
Visnu2007 6 months ago
@Visnu2007 All I can say on the subject is stay tuned... :)
bugera 6 months ago
@ShredmastaZ i agree completly, ola is a master reviewer and musician, i found out about you guys through him actually :D
xxc3lld4m4gexx 6 months ago
@ShredmastaZ You are right. Ola does the best tests on youtube. Nice guy and objective too.
RockingB08 6 months ago
@ShredmastaZ yes, bugera should def send Ola one. I really wanna hear how this sounds in a mix with high quality testing.

Will the Magician also be released as a head version, or will it only be available in the combo version?
AndyBloodtooth 8 months ago
@AndyBloodtooth There are currently no plans to release the MAGICIAN as a head, but you are not the first person to ask for it! I have let the product development team know.
bugera 8 months ago
High guys!
I have a quick question,
I play a lot of instrumental rock music and was wondering, which head do you think would be the best for getting that Satch, Vai, and Petrucci tone?
I'm not trying to steal their tone or anything, I just like that ballpark.
josephvincentguitar 8 months ago
@josephvincentguitar Any of our high-gain amps can get you in that ballpark. 333, 6200 series, TRIREC, or 1990. The TRIREC is our most versatile amp, however, and if you want to really dial in a signature tone, it may be your best choice!
bugera 8 months ago
@bugera
Very cool, I'll look into getting myself a Trirec. Seems like the perfect amp to finish recording my EP with!
Thanks Bugera!
josephvincentguitar 8 months ago
@josephvincentguitar You're very welcome!
bugera 8 months ago
@jboner668 'Nope, till November. But think on the bright side. they are trying to make sure their product comes out of the factory perfect with no problem at all.
SuperGuitarMark 8 months ago
Any clue to the MSRP on this head?
moverland01 8 months ago
@moverland01 Street should be around 799.99, MSRP is always a little higher.
bugera 8 months ago
Can the Bugera Trirec do Fender twin style cleans or Stevie Ray Vaughan style tones?
SuperGuitarMark 8 months ago
@SuperGuitarMark It can get very close, since the twin also uses 6L6 tubes, but the twin has a chimier, more trebly tone and the TRIREC is a bit warmer. That said, due to the gain knob and clean/drive switch, it can get a wide variety of clean and gently driven tones on channel 1 alone. Cheers!
bugera 8 months ago
That Channel 2 Vintage is unbelievably sweet. This looks like a "must buy" amp to me...
DanimalIndustries 8 months ago
@DanimalIndustries Thanks man! We expect it out in November!
bugera 8 months ago
will there be a head of the magician??
wolfman109h 8 months ago
@wolfman109h The MAGICIAN will be sold as a combo only for at least the next two years... Anything is possible in the future though.
bugera 8 months ago
Will the rest of the infinium stuff be shipping in november?
roryl9409 8 months ago
@roryl9409 Yes and no; some of it ships as early as July! You will be able to get the 6262, 6260, or 333 INFINIUM amps after they ship in July. TRIREC and MAGICIAN will ship late September. Regarding the other INFINIUM models, we've yet to hear a firm date. Stay tuned... :)
bugera 8 months ago
@bugera Is that the same for us people in the UK, because i am aware there has been some shipping issues? And will the 333xl infinium not be shipping in July?
roryl9409 8 months ago
@roryl9409 Yes, give or take. When we say "ships in July," that literally means "The boats leave the China factory in July." Arrival dates around the globe will vary. :) The 333XL is not currently scheduled to ship along with the 333, 6262, or 6260.
bugera 8 months ago
@bugera Thanks, you guys are the best :D
roryl9409 8 months ago
Hey, what about the new 1960????? i can't wait to get my hands on one
CptjackSparrow80 8 months ago
@CptjackSparrow80 Soon enough! The first batch of INFINIUM Amps (6262, 6260, 333) will ship in July, with other models to follow in the coming weeks!
bugera 8 months ago
It says in the description about the reverb being at 11 o' clock, was that for every single channel? i could see that affecting the sound as kingdark0 was talking about.
satrianifan13 8 months ago
@satrianifan13 Yes. I asked Leif and he said the Reverb setting was consistent through the entire video.
bugera 8 months ago
I noticed this amp is around $750 (US) and i am planning to buy it within 2 months....will the price go up by then? :O
virusdetection 8 months ago
@virusdetection Nope! :)
bugera 8 months ago
The Channel 2 Vintage sounds like good old school death metal tone. And the modern tone sounds like perfect cannibal corpse territory.
ScreamynDemon 8 months ago
im in love with what he plays on Channel 2 classic mode! (0:55) What key is he playing in?
SuperGuitarMark 8 months ago
@SuperGuitarMark That's the key of D-flat minor.
bugera 8 months ago
I've been impressed by everything I've seen and heard of this amp so far, keep up the good work guys. - Larry R., Novembers Doom
nvmbrsdoom5 8 months ago
@nvmbrsdoom5 Thanks Larry! Have you had a chance to play one yet?
bugera 8 months ago
@bugera No I haven't, I wanted to check it out at SXSW but a change in our tour plans wound up making that an impossibility unfortunately. From the comments and things I've seen and heard online from people who did check it out though, the amp seems quite promising. I have played other model Bugera amps in the past and been impressed, so I'm very interested to hear the Trirec in person someday.
nvmbrsdoom5 8 months ago
@nvmbrsdoom5 Cool, We'll make it happen someday! Cheers!
