I dont know what yall are talkin bout i got a 2001 150 and she runs like brand new! Ive been in water higher than the whole four wheeler and it didnt even cut off goin through it. plus there is no way a honda, yamaha, artic cat, anybody could top the new maxxer 375. sport/utility 4wd, front and rear independent suspension and on the go shift between 2wd/4wd. too good for any of them.
i rilly dont thank this thing would hold up like my kawasaki 650 brute force i rode a kymco and broke it in 5 min my 650 never broke yeat and its at 25000 miles
@mmmmeeee122 I would like you too see braking a Kymco in 5 minutes - NO WAY ! By the way, saying that kymcos are rubbish, you're saying the same for arctic cat and polaris then, because kymcos are made with lots of parts of these two makes.
@sheppers yea i new a guy that had a 800 sportsmen and i was ridein it 4 a week when i sold my yamaha and i was gettin a kawasaki 650 and i broke it in 2 days
I have a Kymco MXU 500. I've owned the quad since it was new in July 2007. I have had the restrictor taken out from the air intake to the carburettor and on the road I achieve speeds greater than 100km/h with ease.
I'm now thinking of exchanging my MXU for a the latest 2010 MXU or a side by side. Any dealers out there interested in doing a deal? I live in Spain at the moment thus my quad is registered in Spain, but I could do a deal anywhere in Europe. Even in the UK. My quad has done 3000kms
you shit people kymco is not Chinese its from taiwan and i have a kymco motorcycle and IT NEVER BREAKS DOWN thats a shoutout for all you fuckin retarded people who doesnt know what quality means you can race me with a fuckin honda and youll be sucking eggs booger-brained.
i was thinking on buying a new quad is this one any good on the road as well as off and is it 2x4 2x2 or 4x4? and is it auto? and any one got one??? wb mark ;-)
It may be a licensed product but it aint no honda bro, kymco is SHIT! I used to live in the philippines and their motorcycles were bottom of the market. Just like they are here in the states. They are junk and i would never recommend a kymco to anyone.
of first of all Polaris,Honda,Yamaha,Kawasaki, etc were all entry level quads when then came out, just cause its new doesnt mean its shit, doesnt matter what BRAND name machine you buy, all depends on what you use it for and how you abuse it,
I have friends that have all the brands you talked abaout included polaris and cat and linhai if u use them they need spareparts also , they are not invincible so after 2000 they r all the same even kymco , w8 4 the chinese in a few years only stupid people pays that kind of money 4 the expensive atv.s
in the late 60 and early 70.s who knew that the japanese would build machines like 2day ?
and the chinese r specialists of making copys so just w8 4 the "quality" brands 2 lower the price
They are not Chinesemade !!!!! They are from Taiwan and are lightyears ahead in quality over the chinese . Nearly all atv made after 2000 are the same quality except the chinese but in a few years the chinesebuilt atvs are the same as the others becuase all the big brands are involved in the chinese factorys so 2 all polaris fans and owners dont stick out your head 2 much becuase youve been fooled by some lame salesman who laughs all week when you bought the polaris
These are Chinese made ATV's conmanwebb. Waste of time and money too if you ask me. You can buy a similarly geared Polaris(Sportsman), Yamaha(Grizzly) or a Kawasaki(Prairie) for the same price even cheaper as per ebay. Okay, so i'm basing this off one dealers price of $5,999. Parts would be tricky, no telling what kind of quality is there. I'd rather have a name brand, not some Chinese brand that would make people laugh at you.
Well even if they were reliable, my main concern is parts supply. If you buy a Polaris, Honda or whatever you can easily get supplies and parts online and through a huge dealer network.
So that make's me also a professional rider? I have a mxu 250 (kymco) and also can slide it around corners and drift on the road, i can pull wheelies with mine. You dont have to be a prof., you just need some practice.. its rlly easy!
the question is how reliable these things r?
mackyyoyoyo 5 months ago
I have owned one of these and the 500 will go anywhere and pull anything.
Brilliant in snow.

@rayfl502 the best way to rise it off a cliff is for you to be riding it.
