@ guy below...uh, no Blade N Soul is open world like Tera...I play them both. BnS is a very good game. Tera flopped hard in SK lol...The fact the company lost millions in law suit for using code for L3 and China pulling out didn't help them at all. Thankfully the NA/EU versions (Which are much different then SK version (i.e not to repeat another Aion) already was well under way. So our Tera can't be judged to fast. Besides its under new management now;it could go either way. All eyes on BnS imo.

No Open World, same system as Dragon Nest ,Vindictus, and Rusty Hearts (Dungeon crawlers); imo C9 is dated :/ (But for the more mature crowd that prefers Vindictus this will be a good game to go to since the Devs are getting extremely lazy)

As F2P they are all top notch though. As far as P2P Tera and Blade n Soul will both blow them out of the water as they are free roam complete A-mmos, the first of there kind. Tera is accepting Beta invites for NA and EU right now. Starts next month.

@SuperAwesomeMovies It's technically dungeon based, but the dungeons are HUGE. Big enough to look like open world at a glance. (Which is actually the same basic way Blade and Soul is.)

@MultiDragon55 PWE definitely does NOT get the job done. Every single one of their games is an unimaginative carbon copy grindfest of their last 10 games. As evidence I present every single one of their games, going doubly so for any game with the words "Perfect World" in the title.  The only thing PWE has going for it is hot babe avatars which is the best they can do since solid and fun gameplay doesn't factor at all in their games.

Let me first say that the combat here looks awesome, but theres such a lack of info it's hard to tell what else to expect

First of all are all these area's instanced like vindictus? Or is it open world? If it is not open world i can easily see half the people that try it quitting in a month. (maybe, depends on just how well things are implemented / just how many features there are)

I just dont see enough in this game to make it a real contender against something like GW2

Played the korean version. Yes it is dungeon based. There isnt a bunch of free roaming in the game honestly. It's like vindictus except with larger areas still connected by narrow corridors. Though it is still significantly better then vindictus in that aspect.

And one last thing, the whole epic jumps as that archer and the floating as the mage do not exist in the actual game.

My main complaint with this game is the same as I have with Vindictus. Gender locked classes.

@chaix91 This is a old video. From back before the game was in open beta in korea. Idk why they didnt keep it in the game. But just think how op these ranged classes would be in pvp when if a melee character comes up and a archer simply jumps away like crazy, or if a mage floats around in the air sieging everything without getting in melee range.

Also even think about bosses trying to attack you, it would be so exceedingly easy to dodge mostly everything.

2nd: You gotta be blind if you think this gameplay looks better. It looks clunky and uninspired, even in the TRAILER. (Check out the Illusionist VS Blademaster PvP on the sidebar: even when he's in the air, obviously out of range he still takes damage from the slash.)

3rd: If it IS Free Roam though, that alone will make it better than Vindictus, unless the gameplay aspect is just THAT much worse. But it at least looked tolerable.

The game is being converted and made for English western players by Webzen

It is both open world and instanced but not as open as lets say WoW or L2.

It will be both quest and grind based.

its very hard to translate games. First you have to go through all the trouble of changing the voices, and sounds, and etc. then you have to change the ping. Koreans play on a 1.239 thousand speed ping. americans run on .849. Our speed is a Hell allot slower. i; (it will be a while for both americans and europeans) =O good luck waiting. :)

The game looks good, but thats about it, it strikes me as one of those dinasty warrior-like games but it amazes me every little mob takes like 2 full combos to kill and the character takes even more also the grappling combo system seems to be stupid cause in these type of games u only get to use it on humanoid monsters that are not really big, so what if u take a class that specializes in it you'll suck late game and cant do it to bosses? too many bad thoughts came to mind with this game...

@MrKiwicupcake coming from someone who has played the game a bit and have played the Assassin class who is the one who uses some grappling, I can tell u right now that you don't specialize in it lol. It is simply a side skill you can take and it's mainly used for pvp so you don't really "suck" and assassins specializes in stunning anyway.

Lastly this game is comparable to the likes of Vindictus and rakion where it takes some maneuvering skill+combo to kill the enemy. makes it more challenging
