Hmmm...they might gain in the fact that the power to choose card check or secret ballot in in THEIR hands and not the corporation. They might be able to avert the stalling tactics that a corporation employs in an election...when was the last presidental election postponed for months on end?

Last time I checked no one could force you to join, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY PAY DUES TO, a church if 51% of the people in your town decided they want one.

Current law the union needs 50%+one of employees to sign a "Check Card" Then there is a secret ballot of the employees of a buisness to decide wheather or not they want a Union. Seems fair. under EFCA the union need only get the cards signed. 50%+1 and the Union is certified, No secret ballot. This opens the door to undue pressure and intimidation of employees from both the union and the employee. Not fair.
