My dogs bark whenever they see someone walking near my house but if the barking goes on for more than a minute or so I go and tell them to shut up. It seems your neighbor just needs a nice attitude adjustment. I think a nice hit to the wallet would be a good place to start.
They got hit in the wallet with several citations and they were forced by animal control to put a bark collar on the dog. Tons of other neighbors finally started calling animal control and finally, no more barking dog after two years of sheer hell.
You can sue the neighbors for noise violations yourself since you have proof that they are barking all day and night. You can also get a dog whistle because dogs hate them. It hurts their ears.
They did get several citations and the dogs are on anti-bark collars now. The rednecks here don't give a shit about their animals...this is the tie 'em up outside and use them as a burglar alarm state.
The life of the big dog is the same. 5 foot chain and is in the same place he has been for a year now. If you live in TN and think animal control is going to help you...think again.
in most cases if you confront the neighbor they will be hostile. i have been through it all take them to civil court and if they harass you take a warrant for the dog owner. i dont feel sorry for you unless you take these people to court
