@Mari94Air ..I don't think this piece should be played with overt "expression". There is a certain classicism and elegance that is maintained with a steady tempo. Adding rubato or overt dynamics diminishes that, in my opinion. To me the piece should give an impression like riding in a trian along the French countryside....steady, firm and the emotion is from the notes themselves.
good performance, great flow, Ravel's music has a sense of detachment, expressive but not overly emotional, as if coming from a different world; i disagree with the comments that say this performance is devoid of emotion.

I think the musician must have the view of the piece which can only be gotten by the study of the composer and the background of the era.And, the musician should fully express them with his individuality and his emotinal feelings toward the piece. The song without feelings of musician is sometimes plain and boring. It's my opinion.

男なのに野原みどりより女みたいな音色。どうして、こんなにピアノから離れて弾くの？フレンスの曲なんだしさ。テーマやフレーズは右手だけのものでしょうか？左手が弱いしリズムというか少し遅れている。細かい音符はきれいだが、レガードができていない。もう少し、内声と、微妙なダイナミックの処理を勉強しましょう。
