symbian is free & i know many reliable softwares of it then compared to android or other os for that matter!

other os might be better, i won't argue; practicality is my concern!

Multitasking? WebOS is better than ANY of those. It was born to multitask, and I have run 12 different apps at the same time, on a first gen device. I'm sad HP has killed it, it was a nice system and the homebrew community was/is awesome.

I disliked but it shot down everything that Palm webOS actually excels at! Multitasking, gaming, and the user interface!! Nothing does ACTUAL multitasking except webOS! ...any iOS game/app can be ported within hours to the webOS platform, and the interface is seriously the most usable & functional around!

I have a Palm Pre and it's true that most of the appreciated tweaks come from homebrew and Preware. I am looking forward to WP7, but really want to wait for one that has 4G network access... I love my Zune HD! :-P
