i'm not sure why, i think it's because you're either a red or a pie here, and it's a generational thing - the older folk are often pies fans (my grandad for instance) and most under 50 are reds fans.

also, we just get on quite well. there's no real animosity, unlike forest and derby or county and mansfield.

Id say there is a rivalry but its probably taken alot more seriously by County as is the North London derby taken seriously alot more by us. We aren't as big as Arsenal so we take it more seriously. City aren't as big as Man U and they take it more seriously. Everton aren't as big as Liverpool and so they take it more seriously. It works that way. No you don't see stoke playing Vale in freindlys but Inter have played AC in many a freindly and Spurs have played West Ham in a freindly. Still rival
