  • @Nemesis2459 i guess i am shy ... what can you do

  • crew rounds are easy to pass....grab everything you're not supposed to have and shove it in a drawer.

  • All those plugs look like a fire hazard.

  • how did you pass crew cabin inspections???? i worked on board cruise ships and as far as i know princess never allowed you to have the cabin like that!!!

  • @TheBrokole why, what's wrong with my cabin?

  • you think the second bed is just decoration?

  • Are there 2 of you sharing this cabin?

  • This looks like my cabin ,same small shit

  • If your contract is 6 months, how do you always have shampoo and conditioner... soap and what not... do they have a store with the same stuff or do you come well packed and prepared or what?

  • @tooieterdpounder123 Depending on what their job is , the could probably go out on port days and run errands.

  • I applied for a cruise ship job last week and got an E-mail sayin if I wanted an interview ..... £3000 a month? HELL YEAH!!!!!

  • I really want to work on a cruise ship, how do you apply? do you need much experience? do you still work on one? and would you recommend it? was the pay good?

  • @jacd2k9 LOL

  • LOL

  • KInd of reminds me of Sigourney Weaver's cabin (Alien first movie) once she got back to the station.

  • Beats being an over the road trucker..... You got a shower!

  • Which ship is this?? I've also worked for Princess Cruises but my cabin was half of this... :(

  • @Dhalm1Ta it is CB, fifth deck aft

  • To live in that kind of room, at least you have to be a supervisor...

  • @imnobody2010 true

  • ALKATRAZ ROOM

  • disaster crew cabin check failed :)

  • @nclcruiseblog I agree too. It is always better to use a power-strip than to fill-up all the sockets on an extension cord. Your LOCAL fire-department will be happy to explain this to anyone in the USA (I hope). If anyone has questions about their stuff I would reccomend them to call-on your local fire department! You can also ask for the "fire education" department or "fire prevention".

  • this is quite big.. i use to work for a cruseline i got a smaller cabin half of this i assume and i shared 3 crew member so were like 4 in a room

  • Hey does anyone know where i can get a summer job on a cruise ship? just for summer for around 1-3 months?

    Thanks

    take care

  • at least the beds look comfortable

  • why do you need 3 lap tops and 2 tvs i see your a cruse ship pack rat did you steel all this shit

  • Talk about a shipboard fire hazard!! Look at the overloaded power strip!!

  • ahhh, you are staff. you must show how is a crew cabin. that is so..so.. small.

  • Did you have to clean your own cabin and bathroom?

  • Nah they have a dude that comes and does it for them too.... Towel animals.. the whole 9

  • yep, that's how they are...huge ship , but when it comes to the crew they make economies with the space and everything....Good money is earned though from what I've heard...i was thinking on working on a ship as a photographer next year :)) but I'm still thinking about it lol, Anyway good for you that you have a job that allows you to see lots of interesting places! :)

  • @black6chinese Photograph -900->1200 $

  • Comment removed

  • Wo, thats space for TWO people? I was getting claustrophobic just watching this.

  • That was a 4 person cabin count all of the laptops on the counter!

  • i am from argentina and i am interesed in work in the kitchen of a cruise ship, where i can send the CVT?

  • try cruise ship jobs on google, worked for me....

  • Well, why sign up for a job like that if u dont like it....? i think it would be fun to be a crew member...

  • not if you had to be on that ship for 10 months

i do wonder what they make in pay

  • @cassandrabadie depends on position. The tipping positions (accomodation, restauran, bars) are paid from the tips of passengers. Like a waiter , stateroom steward(2-5 years on lower positions to get there) you can get from 2000 -3500, depending on ship, itinerary , days of cruising...but all in one if all the passengers are paying the "Gratuities" , the staff is happy.

  • :):):)visor just guit working to work cruise lines

  • AT LEAST YOU HAVE A JOB!

  • I can't believe I want to work on a ship!

  • This is NOTHING compared to living onboard an aircraft carrier like I did for 6 years.

    1. No computer

    2. No bathroom (Head) you can call your own.

    3. No privacy WHAT SO EVER!

    4. No personal TV

So, if you think your cabin is small, be thankful you didn't have to share it with 300 hundred other guys.!

    USN Vet

    USS Carl Vinson 1984-1990

  • Jesuschrist... It looks worse than a prison. =(..

  • exept nowone else is behind you in the shower

  • @luigibattista10 Have you ever been to prison? So ...

  • No, never but i hope it's not like this... :)

  • you are living like a prison inmate.that must suck

  • it really doesn't look so bad at all

  • is too dangerous the tv position in a ship

  • The TV's are on brackets that are bolted down, so it is fine. I have never seen one fall off. I tried to rip one off once to have my tv lower,, and it took me ten mins to get it off!

  • oh man, i almost forgot how a photog princess cabin looks like...but this one is bigger than the ones fron deck 1, 2 or 3...those poor guys

  • exactly...you remembered me ...This is A STADIUM comparing with some other cabins...But anyway...you don't have to much time to spend in the cabin :)

  • is that cable TV? also, i see your laptops, do you get internet on the ships?

  • this one is bigger than average

  • totaly agree

  • @usph2008 this one is really big, actually!!!!!

  • @aymie520 that's an enormous crew cabin. Mine was half that size and i still had a room mate.

it's worse for Filipino or Indonesian crew; they often have 8 people per cabin.
