whan i was like 6 years old, ive used to play this game. I've made my first family (it was obiously like my family in real life), my first house. There was me, my sister, my dad, my mom, my cousin and cousin's mother. Like when i've got angry 1 time, i've drowned my sister (NOT in real life). Believe it or not, after 30 mins i've cried that i've did it :D. Now, i am 12 years old and and... Well, this song really makes me cry almost everytime, maybe becuz the awesomeness of the game is amazing...

The Sims was the game that changed simulator gaming, not The Sims 2, nor The Sims 3. When they return to the playability of the original, and make it so that people of all ages and skill types can enjoy it, then call me. Until then, I'll be playing away at my very very very old compy games and not puncturing my ear drums. Will Wright is the best, but only when he actually designs stuff. Not Freaking EA. -gag- Will Wright = epic gameplay.

@koko253333 Thanks! :) After looking all this up I reinstalled The Sims 8 in 1 and ended up spending the next 12+ hours (and my entire night) mesmerized in the original realm of The Sims. I keep forgetting how distressingly addictive the game is. It's worse than World of Warcraft, because you actually enjoy what you are doing and want to make a successful home. Damn! It's terrible to feel like a complete wreck and savor every single second that led you there. :) Later!~

@koko253333 The only bummer is that they removed some of the default families from the game. It's also hard to play on a widescreen and at 1024x768. I only wish someone had a patch to make it wide screen compatible and blow up the game so that we can play it on modern computers. I did have some trouble with no sound in Windows 7 Ultimate x64, but I fixed it by setting it to XP service pack 2 (apparently service pack 3 didn't work... o.O go figure?).

@Dragoon91786 The Sims 2 was actually developed by Wright as well, the only things related to The Sims 2 that he had nothing to do with were the Stuff Packs and the store content, those are obviously EA's doing. And honestly, I loved the Sims 2, I first grew up with The Sims 1, and when the Sims 2 came out I loved it equally. All TS2 did was expand on The Sims 1, and the objectional "mature content" that was in it was just expanding on what was in various Sims 1 games and EPs.
