  • This is fantastic. The bio-mimicry really brings it to life. Looks like it would make a good back massager too. :)

  • how many of each kind of piece would you say you used? I'm trying to figure out if i have enough to build it.

  • @Scerab Check the description for a link to my instructions and a part list. You will need 108 black hinge parts to make one with 12 legs. Or 72 for a walker with 8 legs.

  • @Kairah89 thanks, and ya, no one i have enough.

  • its rather hypnotic watching the legs move...

Do you have any other still shots of this walker ? I'd like to build my own.

  • Very impressive! I'd love to build a larger scale one at some point. Well done friend!

  • this song is from little big planet

  • Hey, leuk gemaakt,

Heb je die bij mij ook al gezien ? die heeft 8 "legs" en is wat groter......

Ik ga deze (zo klein) ook eens proberen !

  • heey

kzag hem ook op knexforum staan.

    geniaal gemaakt.

  • Very cool mate, well done. It would scare the crap out of my cat!

  • Haha! :) thanks!

  • Yeah, with Theo Jansen's construction of the legs, the body of the robot barely goes up/down if you implement enough legs, that's why the robot needs just a little power.

The reason this one is even cooler then all the others is caus it's built in theme and realy looks good.

  • The real one goes even less up/down. Because with knex you can only make the axle in 4 different angles. But it still works great :)

  • Holy Crap, that looks very complicated.
