@MrAllinclubs The hand dolly gives you a sold hitting area, so when you hammer the metal it won't dent, it helps streatch the metal out and remove the dent. Pee
@GasserGlass Sorry to hear about your breakup,, I remember you said your wife was like Minnie, hard working and right by your side.. Hope things work out. Pete
@diyautoschool ......... Thanks for your kind words Pete...... Yeah, it hit like a ton of bricks, I can be a Mutha At Times and to proud to say I'm sorry....... SO im moving forward and looking for the NEW mrs Go Fast Fiberglass....or, Heading to SOCAL to live with my buddy and childhood friend Mark Voyce....see Voyce Of America on Youtube...... Shop is closed right now till I either RE-Open or Head West?!??!??!??
Good to watch an expert doing it, I've been trying to hammer too hard to move the metal with less hits. I need to practice patience. Can't wait to try it out the next time I do body work. Thanks Pete.
Nice one Pete... Great Attitude, to do the right job every time no matter what... Thats the key to be happy with what you have produced... Thanks Pete
most folks don't appreciate the fact you 'massage' the dent out with your hammer (and dolly) it's neat how you tap, tap, tap and tap and after a bit you see the metal move the way you want. I believe you mentioned the glancing blow of the hammer face on the spot as part of 'finessing' the dent.....Happy T'giving
@mckinzi1 Mac---you should have called the other day to let me and Swamp know you where droppin by!! Sorry I missed ya.. Take it easy, and hope you had a great thanksgiving.... Pete
@diyautoschool not a problem you can see by the Thanksgiving card you got it was spur of the moment on the way over to dinner with my niece. still stuffed and one more plate of leftovers to go (G)
I wish that bloke who keeps clicking dislike would fuck off. Love or Hate Pete the choice is yours but to keep disliking, seriously why bother watching. Asshole.
@Jx1x3 The amount of hardner you use is determined by the weather, if it's cold out you would use more, if it's hot out, you would use less, for the application and they temp outside, I probably waited approx. 30 minutes or so.. Pete
I just dont understand how it works, but it works. Amazing

i figured id let you know a saying i use
"spread your filler the way you want it to sand"
thats say if u waqnt a feather then spread it with a feather edge
if u leav mountins in it then you work will be wavy like mountains
402omb 3 months ago
hey Pete, how long do you wait for the filler to cure and shrink? using the same amount of hardener you used
