Love, love, love this song. I don't know how it happened, but I had forgotten this!!! I cannot imagine because I love it, but I got really lucky as some of the music and the phrase "best of my love" kept running through my mind. It is a great, upbeat song to dance to. I played it and danced to it right here in the "computer room." One cannot hear this song and NOT dance. Thank you so much for this post.
I was 15 and my BFF was 16 when we used to cruise around Los Angeles and would sing along to this song every time it played on the radio (basically every 10 minutes!) We loved it then and we still love it today!
They were the Surpremes of the 70's and they did a damned good job!!!! You could play this at a funeral and someone will get up and dance. It is still that good!!
do you notice how the 70 s an 80s sounds alot better in person than musc today.....
