@GhillieVn dude i know go to reports and go to sword of damocles options, then do the enable cheat mode then go to your castle or town talk to jester then go to troop cheat go down the will say all faith troops and refuge nations he will give you 5 troops after that put that in your castle and ask again the troop you want ok.

i played this on the native expansion mod and had 238 troops vs 1038 sarranids but most of my units were mercenary longbowmen and i just sat back and tore them to shreds it was fun but the first few parts of the battle since it was a 7 or 8 part battle lol sucked cuz all my melee died so i just hoped my longbowmen could kill them before they reached me lol

What I like about this game is that it is a real medieval RPG, not some bullshit with magic. It really represents the medieval period like it really was. Peasants working hard and suffering under brutal management of their lords. Brutal battles in which the nobility was dominating on horses and armor which poor couldn't afford. Two things surprised me, there is no religion which took a REALLY BIG role in medieval and no diseases. But for a battle simulation- this WINS!

Some place had very decentralised power with a strong nobility, other had strong, centralised governments around a king or a parliament. The reason it is hailed as a terrible game is due to the amount of money Atari spent on gaining the rights for it without making a profit.
