@MarkusBeavis He was strongly influenced by jazz artists. Drummers in the early jazz era tilted there snares forward to accomodate the entire set-up of the kit, as well as the traditional style grip. I guess he just stuck with it.

It's also ideal for taller people, and people who do a lot of snare work, like Mikey. Everyone has there own swag, find yours if you're a drummer.

@IHaveALongPassword DW makes good shells and create new production technicts to get a new sound out of the shells, you also can tune the toms and bassdrums to a tonal tuning, means that you can have a tomtom which have the tone B , or a bassdrum that can sound like a E or something. truth uses standart keller shells so they doesnt produce their own stuff, truth is great , i also got a customkit and im so stoked about the sound, but look at the price for a DW and then the same for a truth;)
