Flu concerns prompt changes at church

In my parish I immediately wrote a letter to the Archbishop and on the next Sunday Mass the directive was rescinded and the celebration will continue as always with the invitation by the Priest Let us offer each other the sign of peace. It is now up to the individual to offer an actual hand shake or other gesture of peace and likewise it is up to you to accept the handshake. I can say that most people are still shaking hands at my parish and using the Holy Water at the entrance as usual.
