Jeknexus please help me I feel like my life is falling apart. I'm 17 years olds and played rs since 2005 when i just found out about it. At first it was really good and fun but then like you i wanted friends and more stats. In my real life i had nothing no friends and i was a social outcast always afraid of people. Even now i still go online i managed to quit rs but still go online so much. I feel depressed because i cant escape this hell i have no fun, and no friends please give me advice.
@eveunion The only advice I can give you is the only thing there is TO DO. What I did is I went to where I knew I would find friends, and I did that. For me, it was a local lounge where I already had friends who I'd basically abandoned for RS. For you it could be any number of things. If you really want to change your life, you need a lot of courage and a lot of conviction. If you have neither, nothing will get better.

Even though I never had the pleasure of getting to share a friendship with you, I still feel a real sense of love for you. Everything comes to an end, when a video game becomes more than a video game is when it should end. I'm glad they're all just games for me still :) But I have learned to never say never, keep in touch once a blue moon if you have a lull in irl activity, just know your limits. I'm also an ex-Runescaper and am currently a Minecrafter. Quitting Runescape for me was similar to you situation (without the e-fame). The friends that I had made are some of the best that I will ever have. The pain that was felt when one friend suddenly leaves was enough to finally push me to quit. I realized that it will never satisfy me pushing for capes and making friendships that will hurt me.

I have almost 300 days of gameplay on runescape. I quit a few months ago after getting hacked, but even that wasnt it. This game wont benefit me in any way in the future. I have almost 300 days of gameplay on runescape. I quit a few months ago after getting hacked, but even that wasnt it. This game wont benefit me in any way in the future. I would much rather spend my time playing the guitar, or writing. I hope everyone can have a few hobbies, and not let runescape consume you. Thanks for all the videos you gave us Jeknexus.
