  • Jeff only gets 23 seconds!!!!!!!

  • Jeff Lynne isnt in the Hall of Fame? thats a friggin TRAVesty.!

  • put jeff in the hall, for goodness sake

  • the greatest beatle!

  • Many people felt that "All things must pass" was the closest to a following Beatles album after Abbey Road there was at the time, hence the volume of sales....

  • Yes, he should have been in a long time ago. I think that he was the best of the bunch. If you never saw him live you missed something very special. The man had such command of what he was doing with the charisma and musicianship to go with it. I miss him. Thanks for the music, George.

  • Tom Petty sounds stoned

  • why do they wait until people are dead?

  • @anitasseo AGREED! Why do they wait for people to die? George should have been in LONG ago. The Cars should have been in, before Ben Orr died...

  • @IABOY4444 It´s more about people celebrating the dead´s life, which is fine; but isn´t the main point for the LIVING to receive such honors for their work? I really don´t get it; in George´s case for instance, waiting so long; he´d been like 45 years in the business!...

  • I was only five when you died, but boy do I miss you. I love you, George.

    Hare Krishna.

  • RIP George. Hard to believe it's been 10 Years ! ... and yes George & Paul should of been inducted with John in '94. All 3 had EXCELLENT Solo Careers !!!! 1st Ballot IMO.

  • will they have to let ringo die first before they have to induct him? cmon guys!!!

  • @seanwalrus no Paul was already inducted

  • I'm wondering if Ringo ever will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.....??

  • @903davesharonpoky ..They should

  • Petty said All Things Must Pass was the first #1 Album by a solo Beatle. But I swear McCartney`s self-titled solo debut, which I know went to #1 also, cause it was knocked off the top by Let It Be (the album, of course), was released first. Can anybody check the record on that please???

  • @estyle40 you r right ''Mcartney' was 1st solo beatle no 1 album, contains his arguably greatest song

maybe im amazed, and some other great songs, a very underrated album

  • @thatwilldonicely I KNEW I wasnt losin my mind.....completely. Thanx!!! lol

  • have you heard the first song yeah ITS TRAVELING WILDBURYS! and the beatles two lengendaries bands you are GREAT GEORGE HARRISON

  • ELECTRIC LIGHT , Heritage of the Humanity When? Or Mr. Jeff Lynne ..When? Is a Justice

  • George wasn't underrated. Everyone knew he was awesome, and versatile and on a spiritual not commercial journey.

  • George Harrison was one of the most underrated musicians around. He was so overshadowed (unjustly) by the more colorful Lennon and McCartney you didn't realize he was there. He was a fantastic musician and songwriter. Greatly missed George, I hope you are getting to see "My Sweet Lord".

  • @dulgerom1953

it´s a fact he didn´t write a lot of songs like lennon- mccartney.... but it compensates with some of the best beatle songs of all time.

  • I love this!

  • Rush

  • George wrote some great songs w/The Beatles : Something, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Here Comes the Sun, Taxman , I Me Mine, Think For Yourself, Savoy Truffle, I Wnt To Tell you . . . and many more. Plus he played great lead lines on guitar - Listen to his fills on Two of Us..

  • E.L.O. SHOULD BE THE NEXT.

  • @patmos789 heck yea....those guys were awesome!!

  • @TheGreatwhiteshark84: I pissed myself, dude. Good shit. Carry on.

  • George Harrison-- "Here Comes the Sun".

  • I personally didn't like george in the Beatles but I liked him in the traveling wilberrys.

  • @damexican62 How could you not like him in The Beatles?

  • @damexican62 What?

  • @damexican62 How old are you? Like; 17?

  • @damexican62 well he didnt do much in the Beatles, Do you even know which songs the let him release as a Beatle??

  • So brilliant but yet underrated we love and miss you george

  • I love Tom Petty & Jeff (ELO) Lynne. Well-chosen dudes; they got to be pals w/ George. Paul in his ceremony ('99) was right to ask what about G? What about Ringo? George (RIP) died in '01 & then he gets inducted posthumously in '04 (like John in '88). Time flies. I guess they'll wait for Ringo to pass on b4 they induct him too. But at least the Beatles as a proper band was inducted in '94 while they were all alive. But Paul should've been there w/ G & R then. Regrets? Sure; God loves a fool.

  • It shame that he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after his death.

  • Tom Petty could speak at my funeral any day.

  • Crap you waited until he was not alive anymore, he should have received in 2000 at most

  • George, the silent, unappreciated Beatle.

  • @RollingOrmond why the heck would you want to smack a Beatle?

  • My Sweet George. He and Donovan set me on the path of Gentle Kindness. Still there.

  • wow Georges son looks freakishly like him

  • George is a Institution in himself.. RIP George you will be remembered forever...

  • Tom great we need to find another Brittany Murphy for Luann LUCKY ..Tom you were great Doing a take off of you an Luann the life of Lucky

    an Luann from Arlen Texas

  • George harrison muy merecido el premio, indudablemente. Al igual que Petty ,tambien. Pero cuando se hara justicia del R&R of Fame para Jeff Lynne & E.L.O.???

  • George, the only Beatle you don't want to smack.

  • @RollingOrmond Why would you smack the others

  • @iamobeliskquake Because they're either mean assholes or cutesy pop writers (or in the case of Ringo, the putz who got lucky).

  • @RollingOrmond u cant exactly blame Ringo though for that. they just chose him. BT Ringo does have a few good songs that he wrote : Octopus's Garden, Photograph, and It Dont Come Easy. John can be redeemed because of how much he supported peace. Paul cant be blamed until we find out if hes dead or not.

  • @iamobeliskquake Those last two songs were co-written by Harrison I believe.

  • @Dios67 the 1st one and the last were. i believe that he wrote Photograph by himself, but i may wrong

  • @iamobeliskquake Ringo wrote Octopus's Garden when he quit during the Whtie Album and went on holiday. Whilst ship board he was fed octopus/squid for lunch. He was then told a story about how the octopus's would gather shiny material together and make something like a garden for themselves. Ringo thought it would be nice to be under the sea away from all the Beatle turmoil... in the shade. Yes, you are right George did help Ringo with the song.

  • All Glories to George Harrison ,Hari's son ,Hare Krishna, and Tom Petty! Tom Petty nails his induction by getting everyone to say "Hare Krishna!" just the way George would have wanted it! "He who thinks that Vaisnava's die reasons ill.For Vaishnava's die to live and living try to spread the Holy Name's around" Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur

  • "Get on with it!" Yes, sounds exactly like something he would say, plus it's a Monty Python quote.

  • aww, Jeff Lynne is so adorable. :D truly one of the Beatles' biggest fans, what a dream-beyond-dreams it must've been to have worked so closely with them, especially George!

All great men, liked the short cutaway to Olivia and Dhani, so proud to love such an amazing human being. :D

  • R.I.P. George and John. Now it's Ringo's turn.

  • Yeah for George,a truely great man...........

  • I love Paul, but George is my fav, he was and is the coolest of The Beatles.

  • He was never preachy? !!!

  • @Stube437 I know, I had the same feeling when Tom Petty said this. I love George Harrison's music, both solo and with the Beatles. He is my favorite Beatle and always has been. There was an aura about George - the "dark horse" that was a bit of an underdog, perhaps undervalued and underappreciated as a Beatle and on his own. Yet George more than overcame any doubts, reserve any had about he and his music. He is a legend. Still, George WAS preachy on many occasions. It's just the truth.

  • TOM PETTY! How nice is he to do that. Tom is a good friend. Tom and George forever.

  • Ringo is the next.......yeah

  • @kukinsba For what? Don't pass me by? Lol keep dreamin' , kid.

  • @MetrazolElectricity No, I`d actually like to see that myself; the other three are in. Why break up the set???

  • @estyle40 Cause its not a game...theres no free lunch. the others worked hard in their solo careers to earn this distinction. ringo can't just free-ride on the beatles name. remember this is the solo category. there are amateur muscians on youtube who have a better solo catalog than starr. Ringo basically spent half his solo career drunk and the other half attending beatle events. For that reason when BBC came out with 100 greatest britons the only beatle excluded was ringo.

  • @MetrazolElectricity Nobody said it was a game: just like with Harrison, Ringo had to fight like Hell to get ANY of his tunes recognized. Especially up against the greatest songwritin pair of all time, still to this day. AND let`s not forget he almost always had some help from at least one Beatle bandmate on each album. Granted, his stuff is not as interestin as the others. But he`s still at it, he`s still got somethin to prove, even tho he doesn`t have to. I STILL say put him in.

  • @estyle40 Nope. Even though George was the quiet beatle he still managed to push some tunes besides, the bullshit test is what did you do after 1970? No excuses of a lennon-macca big shadow to hide under are there? Ringo did jackshit. Photograph... jeez, George helped him to write that. Look man,I think ringo was an indispensable CHARACTER (not musician) to the beatles legend,a very funny and cute moptop icon of the early 60s...but if you don't have any merit or talent, then you needn't apply

  • @MetrazolElectricity Still not convinced, huh? Lol. Some do believe if and when he gets in, it`ll largely be because of the work in The Beatles. It`s been said, in fact I think McCartney said it himself, that The Beatles were a hard act to follow. You figure ALL FOUR of them had to be insecure right away with the solo stuff. And Ringo had to have it the worst of the four. And you`re right: "Photograph" and a lot of his songs would never carry the weight of a Beatles tune. ANY Beatles tune.

  • @estyle40 Dude, forget the Beatles for a second. That's the thing.... Rock and Roll Hall of fame has a standard to maintain. Ok Here a simplified explanation for you, Lets say you have to pass the score of 100 to get in. Beatles get 269, they enter. Solo Paul gets 187 and Solo George gets 121...they enter. Yes, their solo scores are much less than 269 but all that matters is that they crossed 100(IMPORTANT INFERENCE). Now Solo Ringo comes with 54. He doesn't qualify.

  • @MetrazolElectricity Dude, forget the scoring for a second. I wanna know what all THE PEOPLE think of Ringo bein inducted. Your feelings have become obvious. He may not qualify now. Yet. But stick around........

  • @estyle40 Look, my friend, I want ringo to qualify. Come to my channel and you'll see how much I adore all the Beatles. But in these matters, one puts one's feelings aside. What I feel or what people feel makes no difference - it's about being objective. Look at the track record of the candidate. And then judge. In any case, I hope he qualifies but the past is a good indicator of the future and it seems unlikely that an angel's voice will suddenly burst through his vocal chords...

  • @MetrazolElectricity Cool!! I wanna see what you got.

  • @estyle40 :)

  • @kukinsba It dont sound right..

  • R.I.P George
