..I love dramas like House which require us to use the cerebral cortex part of our brains to work out exactly what's happening. We can study peoples thought process simply by looking at their faces and interpret their reactions and that's something I find intriguing.

It was to my understanding that Amber represented House's subconscious who was instructing him to make rash decisions against his better judgement, so the fact that she appears to be a vicodin induced hallucination at the end of season 5 is difficult to interpret..

You can see how terrified House is when he said "Wilson... come get me." It would be so scary to think you were acting normally the entire time, and then you find out that everything was actually a hallucination. That's when you know there's something seriously wrong with you.
