@ArtificialFlavaFTB2 Yes, get this game! But be warned: This game is old school tough! It will test your patience. It can be very frustrating but it is very rewarding! It will get a little easier as you progress but you have to give the game a good chance. Don't be too quick to give up on it. Just buy plenty of Phoenix Down potions and HP potions and you should be fine. But even that sometimes may not be enough!

@ArtificialFlavaFTB2 ALSO: Don't always save!! If you lose some OR too many good party members during battle, it may be a better idea to start over without saving. Because your characters CAN permantly DIE if a certain stat reaches a low point from too many deaths during battle. Yup, perma-DEATH! No joke! Even with all it's hair pulling challenges, this game is still great! It's THEE best SRPG on the PSP! So far, one of the best games all around.

coming from a guy who owned the first FFT i have to say lion wars was not as good, the new jobs made the game seem a little more un realistic to me, i mean i always thought with the job system that the ones you got are the basics, but the holy knight etc etc are like special units and with these two new jobs it feels as if you could have everyone be the same thing,

the technique of the game is simply the skills ... "jp boost" and "focus" with it u can master all the classes faster.. if u need help bout this game pm me... ^^ ive mastered all classes already spoiler:(DARK KNIGHT is nothing compared to a full master ONION KNIGHT)... just find out ^^

i've always hated jp boost (originally 'gained jp up') because it's so useful that it makes all other support abilities seem worthless :/

You need the corresponding weapon to the skill. Say you use Asura, the first skill, you need the Asura sword in your inventory.

The skill has a chance to break the weapon though. So I don't really use Samurai much.

Although.. Blade Grasp and Two Hands are awesome as hell..

u just have to equip a samurai weapon... or u can learn the skill and buy that weapon fron shops then u can use it but careful sometimes, wen u use laido, the weapon breaks ^^

sorry, the skills for a samurai, iado a tech tht varies on how mat katanas u have in your inventory, the more katanas u have the more u can use the said ability. but use it 2 much and it will rend(break) si try 2 have many katanas as possible in your inventory.

Ramza's squire class is special because he can wear heavy armor an things and as the game progesses more quire abilities become available so its impossible to master until chapter 4 where Ramza can learn Ultima by getting hit by it

He'll suck at first then get stronger as time goes on. I think they get really strong at lvl 16 or 25.

The same goes for the Final Fantasy 3 Onion Knight, he would be seriously weak, but then if you're persistent in training, it'll be literally the greatest, most satisfying job you could possibly ever master, and, in THAT game at least, you could learn AND wield ANYTHING that the other jobs did/allowed.

Although it's kinda weird, 'cause... C'MON, ONION KNIGHT?!? That is one unique name ;)

Wiegraf is a fucking bitch. He's impossible for me. It sucks that once you start battling him, you can't escape it. Everytime you load up the game, you're stuck fighting him over and over again. And I always have to change the equipment around EVERY FUCKING TIME. I'm in need of help here. I can beat him solo, but when he uses that beast form shit, I'm boned up the ass with a crowbar.

Wear Chameleon robes. Have Ramza in his Squire job. Have Yell, and Acumulate (Tailwind and... boost? in PSP version? The one that ups speed ,and the one that ups PA.) any secondary. Best weapon availible. Best shield.

Run around Tailwinding first. Get your HP really, really, realllllly high. Then run around raising PA really, really really high. When you start double turning Wiegraf, you shouldin't be in danger of him ever getting you. If your that concerned, have Move +1 +2 or +3. There. Win

I thought i was going to die when i found all the jobs for ps1 but now they added from what i can see from the video onion knight and dark night. at least i can become something even more powerful than i did in the ps1 game and the story line of tactics is so fucking awsome cant wait to get a psp.

This game is a little different than FF Tactics Advance. Although it's pretty much the same deal. They are coming out with FF Tactics A2 for the DS sometime this year.

If I were in your place I would buy FFT:The war of the Lions, because it will last you a lot longer than Chains of Olympus.
