Somone help me! im trying to upload videos to youtube using windows live movie maker and they upload to youtube without sound!, Yet when i play the file in windows live movie maker it has sound. . . also if i publish the file onto my desktop then re-open. . .no sound. . . help! :( :(

ive got a promblwm with my wlmm, i make my video add .mp3 files in and when i save it as finished it freezes and have to turn it off completely, or it resarts ive got windows 7 and new movie maker, but i cant seem to save it? could you please help in any way?

I'm using vista premium and WMM. It would be nice if AutoMovie has editing styles like the themes (album, collage, frame, glass, etc.) in Slide Show.

If you're using Slide Show to view hundreds of holiday photos, you know what I'm talking about.

When I download videos into MML I get dozens of thumbnails for each video this makes for a difficult edit. also some of the thumbnails for one video continue on into the next video it is just crazy. What am I doing wrong ?????

@1GEORGETOO You can control how detailed your video view is, and in turn the number of thumbnails, by changing the zoom level in the lower right corner. Let me know if you have any issues, thanks!

@WindowsVideos well i think its wmv... but even know, when I try to upload a simple slideshow, it says wmg has blocked it or something like that because of the music I play, so then I have to use audioswap... so back to the video thing... it may be wmg or wmv.. not sure.

@YounngRose WMG is most likely referring to Warner Music Group who hold the copyright on the song you were using. Are you having issues beyond it being blocked?

And for not being able to make a moving video, I use Windows of course and I downloaded the vid but windows media player still wont let me use it in my vid.

@YounngRose If the music is embedded in your video, then you can mute the audio volume in "Video Tools" and then add your own music track over the top.

@YounngRose You should be able to use any .mp3 as long as it doesn't contain any DRM which prevents WLMM from using it.

@YounngRose DRM stands for Digital Rights Management and is data included on .mp3 files by the seller (like many files on itunes) that prevent free use of the file. WLMM is just short hand for Windows Live Movie Maker.

@YounngRose You just need to use .mp3 files that are free from DRM. Unfortunately it's not possible for me to get information on your files, but just make sure you use open .mp3s. You can always rip .mp3s from your own cd library to use.

Only one problem, you dont get the variety of effects, transtitons, and other stuff you get in windows movie maker. Oh, and wmm can do automovie too. WMM FTW!!
