@scandl99 He said he has been a die hard "Flyers" fan - as in the Philadelphia Flyers....who had just been beaten by the 2010 Stanley Cup Champions Chicago Blackhawks in game 6. Game 7 would have been the same night as that toyota park show...as a life-long hawks fan, i'd like to think i would have skipped the phish show, but in all honesty, i really have no idea...

Old reliable on stage again!!! I wish he'd tune it to an alternate tuning for TTE instead of using the newer greenish LD he uses for it, I think it would make people that hate the song happy to see him play Old Reliable again even if they don't like the song. Personally, TTE has grown on me. Sorry this got off topic haha.

@MarcoGreenberg I heard it on itunes when it first came out and was little disappointed because it sounded like them trying to recapture the old long compositional type matter for the sake of length and complexity. Then I listened to the album 5 times and I loved all the sections individually. You just have to get familiar with each movement of the song, then it has the magic, Its a true PHISH tune in its nature, perhaps it was the build up of anticipation distracting us from absorbing it.

not a new axe, thats his second guitar built by paul in 92...trey played it til the new one was built in 96

If not, the blond hollow body he had before 92 sure looked and sounded similar, it didn't have the middle pickup put it in yet if I remember correctly but there was a place for the pick up right there it was just empty, it has been a long time.
