i love paganis, my most favorite car in the world, however. i am very upset to say that when i look at this car i see a ferrari i dont see a pagani. it looks like a ferrari. it looks tame and conservitive it doesnt look like a wild and insane car anymore.

In an interview, Horacio said that it will be a v12 Twin Turbo himself. It's not really that far fetched. Mercedes themselves are going to replace all their big NA V8s with twin turbo models starting from next year.

it doesn't have a twin turbo v12 -.- . its a normally aspirated v12 as was the zonda before it. A 6 litre i believe, smaller but more powerfull. From mercedes AMG as usual.

@fatdan172501 Because with such a light car you want the engine to rev freely. There was nothing wrong with the 7.3 V12 they're using currently. Making a smaller block with turbos is just a downfall, to me at least.

ya as far as sound and pure beauty lol. but they are upping the horse to 700+ and when your getting a n/a motor up that high its starts becoming a race motor and is not vary drivable and unreliable for street use. turbos give power with drivablity understand. but i would agree all motor v12 is much better than twin turbo v8 in this car at least. the c6r corvette race car is a 7.0 v8 all motor and it pushes 800+hp and its a full blown race motor so if the amg was up there it would just be hell.

@fatdan172501 My point is that it doesn't need to be turbocharged to be pushing 700 horses. The thing's big enough to crank out some more without being a racing motor. I don't know why you said that. It really isn't true. You can have even more power than that without a racing motor.

to be drivable yes it does. the Zonda R is a all motor v12 and is pushing just over 700hp and the thing is meant for the track not the road because it is a low torque high rpm motor which is not vary good for the street. because when you push a motor that far it starts becoming a race motor. there is a reason most super cars running past 550-600hp are running boost koenigsegg,zr1,saleen s7,Bugatti,etc. because boost gives you drivable horse power end of story you don't really grasp hp do you.

@fatdan172501 Yeah actually I do and you're saying that when normally aspirated engines have a lot of power they become race engines. What about the 7.3 V12 in the Aston Martin One 77? How about the V16 Cadillac engine? And by the way, all Pagani's are powered by race bred V12's. I suppose you'll say those are un-drivable as well. Do you know a lot about hp? Doubtful. Because you're making this big fuss about 20 extra horses.

And yes, turbocharging cars is the easier way out but free revving engines are sought after by many enthusiasts, including myself. Oh and sorry, no boosted V8 in this car.
