  • There are no winners, only one who lose more than the other... that can´t be the right way.

  • Thanks.

  • the question raised by your post remains... and I would answer it thus... when the educational and economical opportunities of those serving is equal to that of those profiting from military action, is it not likely that the profiteers will, of necessity, place the lives of their own children on the line, in order to maintain their profits? To clarify, bring back the draft, but with no deferments... we will learn where our national interest truly lies.

  • ClannadGirl, thank you... your detractors raise valid points, but I'm betting they are not veterans of military service... I, for one, will never disrespect the sacrifices made by those who lay their lives on the line in our defense, or the price paid by their families when they fail to return... but, as a natural born citizen of this country whose roots date back 10K+ years before Columbus I would ask, are our actions in defense of democracy, or of corporate profits? continued...

  • What a dumb song. It's as silly and childish as equating self-defense with violent assault. Without soldiers in armies of decent nations, the barbarians would conquer, rape and pillage at will. Are the soldiers who fought against Genghis Khan equally to blame for war as the Mongol soldiers who enjoyed the killing?

If Americans, Brits and Canadians hadn't become soldiers, the Nazi conquest of Europe would be permanent, and millions more exterminated.

  • @tubesteaker But the point is that if no one would fight there wouldn't be a war. If the Germans had said to Hitler, '' Go fight the Polish yourself'' Then there would have been no need for intervention in the first place. This is not the way the world works I know. But that is what the writer of this song is talking about. Soldiers are as much to blame for wars as their leaders.

  • We put an end to war by winning.

wars begin with politics. If you're not in the game, all you can be is loud - a mere voice in the crowd.

Get in the game. This world is not about superficialities. Like you morons who voted for Obama-change out of white guilt or because your peer group got excited and thought you were "involved". You are involved. Like the about soldiers, you were a tool in the socialist machine that doesn't give a damn about you.

  • sorry, misprint - Like the ABOVE soldiers...

  • Great work. keep a goin.

  • Love this song, it is the ultimate song for peace.

    Great job on your video.

    I loved it.

  • This song happens to be written by Buffy St. Marie! I saw no mention of her in your credits. See more of her songs and amazing cries for America on YouTube. She was incredible.

  • Thanks!

  • Good job, like the work with the pic, great timing.
