  • well next time get out of the fucking way you fucking cheat.

  • it was beautiful

  • what was the score?

  • Graham "3 yellow cards" Poll....are we really suprised?

  • haha I remember this, had no idea why Poll disallowed it and I dont think he did either

  • did the ref give the goal?

  • why was this disallowed?

  • @rossfrench123 The game was over right after the GK kicked. It was already 90 minutes + stoppage time.

  • @MilesAboveTheTrees Erm yeah, we are "living off" something that actually went AGAINST us in a Merseyside derby and worked in Liverpool's favour... mmmmkayyyy

  • Everton fans have to be the worst human beings in the world... I'd put them on a par with scooter riding, knife wielding Italians... pure stinky scum. So you got banned from europe after Heysel? Boo fucking hoo. As if you would've got anywhere in the European Cup anyway. Back then it was hard.. not like now. So shove your "murderers" chants up your bitter blue arses and fuck off.

  • @MrDenizen Murderers

  • @MrDenizen youve got a big mouth sonny , if you knew what team we had in the mid 80s you might have known that the european cup was there for the taking , i saw the european cup ,after the ban , both teams everton could of beaten one after the other , ive never thought the murderer chant was any good because mid 80s any british team would of reacted to the abuse italian fans were throwing,

  • @MrDenizen

Back then it was hard? Are you for real!!!

There's 3-4 of the best teams from all the best leagues in it these days. It's much harder to win the CL than it ever was to win the European Cup.. More teams, more quality, more games = harder. Simple.

  • @MrDenizen

I'm a Utd fan by the way.. Not being biased here.

You had a good Spanish and French club in your group (Bordeaux, Deportivo). A good German club (Leverkusen) in the 1st knockout. A top Italian club (Juventus) in the quarter-final. The soon-to-be record points champions of England (Chelsea) who were a much better side you must admit. And then the Italian champions MIlan in the final.

A monumental effort and I give Pool full credit but that was harder than any European Cup you won

  • @MrDenizen

    And by far. No exaggeration.

  • ferguson wasnt far enough away

  • @kodakalex the rules state the ball must now be 40 yards from a goal, i am a ref in the championship and have also done premiership matches. nice try.

  • Graham Poll was always a terrible referee. As you can tell from the crap he writes in the Daily Heil.

  • YOU'RE ALL GAY CUNTS!

    LOVE EVERTON COYB!

  • The ref may have the authority to blow the whistle at any time, but he generally waits until the ball is either dead [i.e. goal kick or in the back of the net] or when the ball is in the air, favouring no side, as in a taken goal-kick. To whistle-up as a ball is entering the net, smacks of favouritism and game rigging. Bad decision there which taints a pretty good career, overall.

  • ifithadntofbeenfor

May i ask a question... with winning being the aim of football, what then is the point of everton?

    discuss

  • Comment removed

  • Obviously not a goal, the everton player weren't enough yards away so therefore the free kick had to be re taken

  • @kieran5791 you idiot

  • @jrhomer100 good one

  • The main cause of bitterness is failure, EVERTON !!!

  • I don't get why anyone cares about this video the game was from 2006

  • @DTFGful That should end with a question mark, lol. You tried so hard, didn't you?

  • The Ref is like, "yeah its stopping time, i dont give a fuck" lol :D

  • graham poll has since came out that he should have given the goal so any red shite who thinks they no all the rules of the game can fuck off ,everton should have won and at the time poll just bottled it.

  • corrupt!!! the final whistle is not meant to be blown until the ball is at least 40 yards from any goal!!

  • @comeonengland08 who the fuck told you that ? so your saying if a team kept the ball in the corner for an hour there would suddenly be an hour of stoppage time....

  • @comeonengland08 man you are good in these things thumbs from me

  • @comeonengland08

bullshit. he can blow the whistle whenever he fucking wants (referee here)

  • @tonystevo you twat who the fuck do you think you are calling liverpool murderers you dirty horrible scruffy cunt go and rot in your little rotten house of yours if you knew your facts you wouldnt be saying that you nonse inbred twat.

  • @tonystevo murdering bastards???? you better fuck off fucking blueshit!

  • @tonystevo forget football for a minute , calling basically your own people murderers ? you fuckin scumbag get a grip

  • Referee bottled that.

  • Liverpool goalkeeper hit the everton guy and the ball went in, but I think the referee blew the final whistle before the ball went in.

  • Can someone tell me, what happened here? And what was the result?

  • @Dawn3R Referee blew for full time immediately after the Liverpool goalkeeper kicked the ball. By the time it bounced off the Everton player into the goal the game was finished,

  • OMG I remember this match seeing it from TV live. I am a Liverpool fan, and I didn't hear the whistle and I was terrified. I was always under the impression that Everton was treated unfairly .

  • animal, nem intende do jogo, Vai se f#der

  • @timmmss the ref disallowed the goal because he had already blown the whistle to signal the end of the game... Stupid decision really... Hon the Toffees !!

  • One of tghe worst decisions I've ever seen - and I was in hte Lower Gwladys at the time. Worse still he changed his mind about his reasons after the match, which tells you everything you need to know.

  • One of tghe worst decisions I've ever seen - and I was in hte Lower Gwladys at the time. Worse still he changed his mind about his reasons after the match, which tells you everything you need to know.

  • You can be as close as u want to a freekick as long as the freekicktaker doesnt tell the refereee to move you the 9,15m away.

The keeper was stupid to take it, and the referee should allow the goal

  • @Balderhagen The referee should not have given them the goal, he blew the final whistle the moment the keeper kicked the ball long.

  • Monty Python simply:)

  • Good desicion refree

  • Everton player was walking away from the ball and so does not break the rules, it's down to the keeper to wait for him to get back. As it was, the keeper took a quick free kick, and so the goal should've stood, you don't see free kicks being given for not being back 10 when quick free kicks are taken in the centre circle.

  • Poll has since admitted that this was a mistake and the goal should have stood.

  • You can't be that close to a freekick. There's a reason the refs makes the players step back during free kicks.

  • Are you all forgetting that this is 1999-2000 when you only need not to be 10 Yards

  • The Everton player should be booked, as he is not 10 yards and opstructing play, im a keeper and do it all the time

  • Poll has since apologised for disallowing the goal.

  • Poll has since apologised for dissallowing the goal.

  • i blame heysel and clive thomas.

  • @roadend78

I blame chelsea and graham sankey

  • @1878EFC2008 thats low iam so hurt.

  • @roadend78

It wasn't me who posted that. It was Graham Sankey, so can you blame him, please?

    Cheers.

  • @1878EFC2008 i blame rocky .

  • @roadend78

It certainly wasn't me. I was sleeping when it happened.

  • @1878EFC2008 cool la

  • @Jdog0496 never win anything , ha ,with all our trails in the last 20 years or so, everton are still the 4th most successful team after utd lpool and arsenal, 9 championships 5 fa cups cup winners cup, something liverpool never won, countless semis and runners up in cups etc,, far more succesful than ,chelsea man city and the other teams rolling in millions of pounds of forieign money, millions of pounds oweing to the bank, keep your liverpools and utds ,we are everton and dont give a shit

  • @TheMightOfTheEnglish Don't forget they have one of the best academy programs in the world.

  • @TheMightOfTheEnglish Have you won the European Cup? We won it 5 times.

  • @TheMightOfTheEnglish has everton won champions league nooooo soshut up everton scumbag

  • @239Memo no we havent gobshite , because of you lot , and it,ll be many a year you,ll win it again yourself , forget the league your not good enough

  • @Jdog0496 Too bad you upload clips from computer games because you're a fucking nerdy geek. Also we're the fourth most successfull team in English football, so keep quiet you mega-dweeb.

  • @SgtPepperEverton half of all the videos on youtube are of computer games and they earn the views of hundreds of millions of people every day so dont take it out on me just because you support a club that hasnt got anough money to buy anyone in the transfer window and has to sell their best players e.g Mikel Arteta

  • @Jdog0496 thats got nothing to do with anything, you said everton never win anything, we're the 4th most successful club in england regardless whether we have Mikel Arteta or not, don't chat shite about things you know nothing about.

  • @Jay92efc i wasnt replying in to anyone but SgtPepperEverton because he was insulting people who upload clips of video games, if everton are the 4th most succesful team in england then that just shows how poor it is,when you compare them to the 4th most succesful teams in spain, italy and germany

  • @Jdog0496 Not really, considering the Premier League is the hardest and best league in the world, it's quitre hard to be on top of it, people seem to forget this and brand anyone who finishes outside the top 4 as "poor"

  • @Jay92efc Everton are actually the joint 4th most succesful because if you count everton's honours and tottenham's honours they are both 24 and tottenham are more likely to win something before everton

  • @Jdog0496 They haven't won anything though have they? why is it when you write a comment it's filled with irrelevant pointless shite? The difference between us and Tottenham is they've won more like carling cups and stuff, but we've won more leagues, which by the way are much harder to win. If someone had 10 carling cups and someone else had 9 leagues, i'd say the team with the league titles was a better team, anyone is capable of winning the carling or FA cup really.

  • @Jay92efc so why cant everton win the carling cup or fa cup then?

  • @Jdog0496 we've won the FA cup 5 times. I'm saying its possible for anyone to win one of them cups, because it is. I'd rather have more league titles than carling cups if i'm being honest.

  • hahahahahahahahahahaha

  • I blame Heysel.

  • graham poll = dick

  • i'm a united fan but that should have been a goal

  • @positiveblackman1 a united fan thinking a 'disallowed' goal should have stood against the redshite!

shocking :)haha in truth it was never a goal anyway as it was full time

  • The goal that never was? Lampard vs Germany!

  • Liverpool fan says that was a goal.

  • funny

  • ahahaha

  • one of the worst refs i have ever witnessed

  • the referee has since said he made the wrong decision in disallowing this goal to all you tools saying he was right

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH EVERTON YOU LOSE

  • @gamerlew127 Murderer.

  • Was he even 10 yrds?????? NO goal get over it

  • SUCK A DICk

  • LMAO this cunt of a ref blew the whistle for half time right before the ball went over the line. He basically thought there weren't gonna be any chances after the keeper had booted it up there.

  • @maxpayne2424 yeah but it wouldn't have counted anyway, the player it came off wasn't ten yards away before the kick was taken

  • @John21394 The whistle had gone for full time... so in essence, it shouldn't have been a good goal. Only bitter from an Evertonian's perspective that he would chooes the most inopportune time to call for full time. For some reason these other fools can't read or something, because they still believe it had something to do with a freekick.

  • @jonferris24 But how often do you see a goaly clear it and full time goes, unlucky for Everton but reallly no right to complain

  • the opposition have to immediately retreat 10 yards if it's a free-kick. If they don't they can be booked. If Hutchison was adjudged to be ambling deliberately too slowly away he could have booked him. Of course the goal couldn't have stood.

  • offside definitely!!!!

man u offside screamers are tards

  • Right... you guys who are arguing about offsides clearly don't have a clue. The referee blew the whistle for full time, not for offsides. I remember the game vividly... hit hutch right in the back and should have been a good goal, only that wait, ref sees ball headed towards the goal and liverpool escape again. Pathetic refereeing, but not for offsides.

  • he was too close..?

  • LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB FOREVER:P

  • @connahs300 redshite

  • Scumabgs!!

  • It is a valid goal, but the ref had blown up for full time before it crossed the line

  • hate liverpool, hate everton. here's what happened. stupid evertonian is plodding along and BAM, ball hits him in the back.

on the other side of the story. stupid liverpudlian goalkeeper kicks the ball blindly without looking and conceeds a "goal".

they're all idiots. goal shouldn't have counted anyway.

  • @AutoJew hate jews

  • @JackalSkull hate scouse scum.

  • @AutoJew i'm not scouse so go fuck yourself

  • @AutoJew ARE YOU PISSED CUZ THE SCOTS STARTED THE GREATEST TEAM IN ENGLISH HISTORY LIVERPOOL FC???

  • @AutoJew oi shut up u cockney maggot ull never hav as good history as everton do u fat shit

  • @mrspatcher who said i was cockney u uneducated coucil-house chav?

  • @AutoJew heres what happened, hitler had a great idea, the yanks fucked it up

  • SPURS SUCK AS WELL MAGGOT!!!

  • so it was liverpools goal or evertons goal

  • @keirenza33 seems like it's Liverpool's net

  • @badshans ok

  • I'm a fan of neither team.

As far as I can see, the player is walking across in front of the ball as the free-kick is taken. Of course this is intentional by the Everton player. Players are taught to be 'professional' like this.

My opinion: no goal. Free-kick retaken & booking.

  • @steviepryke I've been a Liverpool fan for 20 years, but I have to say that is a clear goal to me.

  • @steviepryke

That's a goal. The keeper is a moron, he was kicking it at the player's direction; he presumed it would go over him. It's his own fault.

Anyway this reminds me of Fifa on the Megadrive. Where you could stand in front of the keeper and sscore from the rebound.

  • @veegta83 But nothing wrong with Tims goal on Sunday FTRS I remember that fifa,(was it 93?) I scored a few of them rebound goals but it was horrible when someone did it to me,

  • @steviepryke That's not the argument though, he blew for full time before it crossed the line.

  • @steviepryke wasn't it the end of the game though? so it doesn't matter

  • @steviepryke he blew for the final whistle u fool, nothing to do with him being in the way and if u have a brain u would understand the referee is a wanker.

  • @ibrox4ever IF he did blow the final whistle, it should be a yellow card too... intentionally done and not 10 yards back!

  • @aaronman6188 You must be blind AND stupid to call for a booking in this case. Wtf???

  • @bierbuik awww not the cleverest are we?? I wouldnt be watching it if i was blind! also its pretty even on the "calls" for cards or not... so are you saying that everyone who believes it should be a yellow is "stupid", just because you believe the opposite? Iv a question actually... whos helping you use the internet??

  • @ibrox4ever But it was clearly a free kick otherwise why would the everton player not be running towards the ball. Now, because it is a free kick, he needs to be at least 10 yards away, however when it is taken he is obviously less than 10 yards away which is why it was disallowed so it was the correct decision.

  • @ibrox4ever The thing is he didn't blow the whistle. That was just his excuse. Other views of it show his whistle nowhere near his mouth. He has since apologised for his mistake.

It's nothing to do with the teams involved, Graham Poll is just a knob in general.

  • @steviepryke is it fuck its a goal

  • @steviepryke Unfortunately the referee, Graham Poll, who made the original mistake doesn't agree with you. He apologised the almost a decade later to Everton fans in his memoirs, and noted that the goal should in fact have stood after all. He did not feel that Hutchison was 'intentionally' obstructing - he is clearly walking away, not 'across' as you put it- and in any event, Poll blew for full-time (not an infringement) when there was still time remaining, which is why Everton were furious.

  • @steviepryke he wasnt walking acroos the ball he ws walking away. as its the final minute why wud the liverpool keepe be in any rush to take the kick??? th everton player shud not be there but its the keepers choice to take the kick so its a mistake h brought on himself

  • Well he was in a rush to try and get the ball forward so Liverpool could try to win the game, and the Evertonian cunt was trying to time waste. He's should have been booked, but the Everton fans have the audacity to piss and moan about not being given a goal?? Fuck that.

I'm not a fan of Liverpool, but Everton really are a horrible shitty little club, so filled with hatred, jealousy and bitterness that it consumes them. A small time Man City. Watch 'Bye bye Steven Gerrard' for more evidence.

  • @MrBlack1968 haaha so ur jumping on the "gerrard is unfairly treated by blues" band wagon. This is probably the whole point. if ur not a liverpool or everton fan how the fuck do you know what really goes on between them??? fucking arrogant dickhead

  • @MrBlack1968 Have you any idea how the '85 european ban damaged Everton? Not only were the best team in our history denied a few chances of competing in the European Cup, but we eventually lost our all-time greatest manager because of it as well, not to mention Gary Lineker.

  • @bugstrut It was only 5 years, I don't know what you get so upset about. This 'best team in your history' wouldn't have won Europe anyway, they couldn't even retain the title without the distraction of the ECCC, which is more difficult to win. Everton couldn't win any of the replacement competitions against other English teams either, so God knows how they would have fared against the cream of Europe. Still, at least you have something to piss and moan about. Self pity city.

  • @MrBlack1968 What are you talking about? It was a complete European ban, from all 3 competitions, wasn't it? Anyway, where are you from? What does self-pity city mean?

  • @bugstrut I'd hardly call not being allowed to play in the UEFA Cup terrible damage to a club.

Surprisingly enough I don't tell people from the internet where I'm from, it is none of your business. Re: self pity city, there is a tendency amongst Liverpudlians to feel sorry for themselves and blame their failings on other people, eg. Sheffield police, Howard Webb, another football club etc. Everton have had 50 years to win a European Cup, it's not Liverpool's fault you never have.

  • @MrBlack1968 It sounds like you're just talking about Liverpool fans, so I don't know why you're talking about the whole city, when half of them are Everton fans. As for the ban, who knows what would've happened if it hadn't been imposed? It would've set off a completely different domino effect. And even if things had stayed the same, we won the league again in '87, so that was at least one other chance we would've had.

  • @bugstrut Bad things happen to all clubs, it's the responsibility of the club to overcome them. Man Utd had their stadium destroyed and half the team killed, you think Everton have it bad not qualifying for a couple of competitions over 5 years? Fuck off mate, if you want to look at why Everton always fail, look at Everton's players, managers and fans, not a European Cup Final over 2 decades ago. You won it in '87 but still weren't good enough to win anything the next season.

  • @MrBlack1968 You don't reall sound like you know what you're talking about. Are you American? You say we won "it" in '87 - what's "it" meant to mean? Also, as I said before, we lost our greatest manager, because of the European ban. As for our current manager, if you know anything about football, you'll know he's the best young manager in Britain. Why do you think Alex Ferguson said he thinks he's the best man to rake over at United, when he retires?

  • Ferguson has never said that you lying little toerag. I can't be doing with this, arguing with infectious parasites who make up lies.

    "It" is the League title.

  • @MrBlack1968 Just type "Alex Ferguson Moyes best man for job" into Google, scroll down and click on the Goal.com story. You obviously know nothing about football, oh, and you're obviously a bit of a nutjob, ranting like that about football when you're probably 42/43. LOL!!

  • @bugstrut what a surprise, you're completely full of bullshit. Ferguson didn't say anything like that, Goal.com were just reprinting something which was written in The Sun. 1968 isn't my birth year.

  • @bugstrut atleast we have been in a final in the last few years gobshite

  • @mike2k28 Gobshite? Who, me? Your profile info says you're a blue.

  • @bugstrut I am a blue

  • @MrBlack1968 What a horrible nasty man you are. At least if you are here you are giving other sites a rest. Get a girlfriend - or a boy friend - whatever. :D

  • @crimsonrush I am superb.

  • @MrBlack1968 If you watched this video and say the Everton player was wasting time, then you're a bigger wanker than Poll. But just like him, you'd never admit it. But you still know you're wrong, don't you? Classic case of a blinkered Livershite wanker refusing the truth because of blind allegiance. Fool.

  • @flooberbloob I'm not a 'Livershite wanker', I can't stand Liverpool Football Club, and I certainly have no allegiance to them - they are almost as bad as Everton, except with slightly less bitterness. The Everton player is ambling slowly away from the goalkeeper in order to delay the restart of play, look where the Liverpool defenders are in comparison.

Nothing wrong with the referee's decision, read the rules.

  • @MrBlack1968 Murderer. I curse you and the prostitute that shat you out.

  • @crimsonrush Why are you calling me a murderer? I have never killed anyone in my life.

  • Comment removed

  • @steviepryke Why no goal? The freekick was taken, it was a goal, why should he take it again?

  • @steviepryke fucking idiot

  • @steviepryke Are you mad? That's not bookable at all. Also, the goal was disallowed because the final whistle had gone, why then would you book a player after that?

  • @steviepryke

The ref blew for time before the "goal" was scored. If the player wasnt ten yards away, then why did the keeper take the free kick?

And why book a player who is obviously walking away from the keeper, with his back to goal?

Im not a fan of eigther team, but your comments are wrong.

  • @steviepryke

I agree with that till you said booking, why should he get booked for that?

  • @mufcevo for time wasting!!!

  • @steviepryke You're an idiot who doesn't understand anything about the situation at hand. Calling for a booking is absolutely ridiculous.

And the ref had blown for full time, otherwise surely the goal would have stood.

  • @steviepryke

The Everton player was walking away from the ball... The goal keeper should of waited till he was 10 yards away if that's the case. The Ref blew his whistle for full time when he knew it was a perfectly correct goal.

  • I'm a Liverpool fan but that really should of been a goal

  • the reason he gave was that he blew the whistle before it crossed the line - absolute lie. rs scum.

  • fuck off muppet, i aint gonna say im still hurtin, so some blue scum can take the piss!

  • so why didnt it count?

  • im over hillsborough, your still a bitter blue shithouse

  • @boxpine69 Over it? I dont know of any other Liverpool fan who would EVER say that...shame on you
