  • i wonder what gayle looks like in the nude , hell yeah

  • @SNCDeeDee Ask her husband Chick Corea..lol

  • live doesn't get any better than this. They're all amazing but black superman Ralphe Armstrong is manhandling the crap out of his bass, he owns that bitch.

  • violin player looks exactly like charlie day off always sunny in philadelphia

  • what a noise !!!!

  • love it, This is just SICK!!!!!

  • I was front row right in front of JM and Jean Luc at a concert from this tour in Canada...

I got a nice handshake from John and Jean-luc at the end of the show.

Amazing...turned me into a Jean-luc fan,but unfortunately I have never seen him in concert.

  • Walden = Gold!!

  • This is fabulous. Pure. Fcking. Fabulous.

    Even Gayle.

  • her voice is shrill and strident,imo-this line-up is nowhere near the original's capacity(although i find jan hammer's playing rather grating at times).cobham, john and goodman simply kick arse.i've seen the original orch twice, and the first santana/mclaughlin tour,as well as seeing ponty twice with zappa-i will take goodman anyday-more feel,imo-maybe not as technically proficient, but blazing riffs that countered mahavishnu perfectly.

  • Jean-Luc Ponty is so sick. I just bought 4 of his albums on vinyl at half price for a bucks a piece! Best buy I've made in a while

  • I love the shot at 5:05, McLaughlin moves the mic stand over, like "How did THAT get over there?!"

  • Saw (most of?? ) this lineup perform open air in Holland around '74. Don't know where. Git 1 minute soundless movie though:) Great band.. really wonderful.

  • listen to Michael Tsarion on the youtube. He is the worlds premier conspiracy researcher/lecturer/author. Leo Zagami and Dr. Bill Deagle are highly informative as well.

  • Great band. I wonder why the original line up changed so much from 1972 to 1974. I really loved the first 2 albums and their line ups.

  • Because everyone wanted to be a damn composer. To be honest JM compositions were the best and Jan Hammer wrote some good stuff. But everyone felt like the band should play thier sucky assed original tunes and John wasn't having it! There's a few tunes on the Last Trident Sessions CD if you want to her some of the shit Cobham wrote. John was right! It just didn't work! But as you can expect people got pissed because John wouldn't play their stupid shit!

  • Sorry, that's Lost Trident Sessions!

  • Too bad, but it looks like this lineup was a great one too.

  • Mc Laughlin and Hammer fell out, apparently John was not interested in sharing writing duties, or something like that.

  • i dont like it when they sing

  • Mahavishnu Orchestra Smile of the Beyond i guess

  • what' s the name of this song?

  • Hi...Smile of Love Beyond. ***listen to the lyrics.....religiously-speaking. Do you get it? hehehe you will get it!!!

  • what an exquisitely pure voice, she looks like Snow White. Some ridiculous maxout battling trade-offs between John and Jean-Luc at the end...wow!

  • this is such extraordinary music...great to see some of it performed live!!!

  • this is such extraordinary music...it great to see some of it live performed!!!!

  • In My opinion, Mclaughlin was at his peak of creativity during this period. This music is truly special.

  • The chick looks freaked out when they start jamming near the end! But I might too if I was that close!!! Cool download, and thanks for sharing it.
