Just where is the Sony getting it's signal from? An outside antenna or cable? Seems like the other set should be wired into the same source.

I agree but trinitron technology was superior to shadow mask.

unfair comparison. The Sony had a closed circuit picture, where the other TV probably had bad off-air reception. If Sonys were that much better they should have used the same closed-circuit signal for both TVs.

this one crazy old lady at work has a tv JUST LIKE this one. it dosent really work anymore, so she just kinda sits there and stares into it.. its kinda creepy.
