  • Was that a Shave And A Haircut at the ending from 734 by chance, or just a friendly show of the whistle?

  • Leave it to the Western Maryland Scenic Railway to put on a show.. This video shows it just as good as I remember it, can't wait to get back down..

  • will the Wm ever change the whistle on 734 someday

  • Hell no dude!

What can be more of a brutish whistle then a hankok 3 chime?

    Well maybe a I.C. steamboat....

  • How long of a drive is it from the station in cumberland to the yard in ridgly,wv

  • @trainboy410 Like 5 minutes.

  • Great video Adam. Get anything from the night trips?

  • Great video. I need to get down there and see it myself. The engine does sound alittle off tho. Sounds like some running gear work is in order. It doesnt need any help sounding better tho. Wow.

  • Interesting how seeing one name can answer so many questions.

Can't say there's anything new, but since is when is that a bad thing? Still looks as professionally awesome as it should

  • is Ridgely yard West Virginia where they store the 734?, and if so, how far is it to Cumberland Maryland?

  • It's right across the river from Cumberland. Just like the Western Maryland did, WMSR stores its equipment in the Ridgely Yard

  • Nice video

  • Great video!

  • yeah but i meant, i thought it would have been only turned once, not to the same way it got on, LOL

  • @Railfan108 They spun it around 360* for show.

  • Sounds like she got a bit out of square, reverse hooked up too high, or valves got a little out of set?

  • why did they just start spinning it at the end?

  • @Railfan108 Because the engine would be placed back onto the train for the return trip. The GP30 on the rear pushing would lead the train back.

  • Gotta love the GP30 helper!!!

  • Nice video! I was just on the WMSR railroad a couple weeks ago. I know alot of the engineers who run the engine. They are awesome. It'sa an awesome train ride as well!

  • This video was amazing!!!! 20/5 stars!

  • Wow, what a noise, boy that engine can make some sound!

  • Very nice !!
