  • lol, aziz did part of his act here, when he's talking about harris

  • I don't care if it's a repeat. It's hilarious. I want to hear more about Darwish & Harris.

  • he's funny

  • aziz ansari annoys you? fucking sad

  • wow this guy is spittin his material from all his shows word for word

this is kimmel you shouldnt do your standup during the interview

  • @acef016 yeah i know most comedians do that... it's annoying.

  • @acef016 yeah he should totally do his second rate shit when he gets his first chance

  • @acef016

Yeah, like that guy said, it's not just him; it's ALL comedians.

  • exactly.

  • yeah but he's not the only one who does that really.. pretty much every comedian in show biz does their material on late night to test it out and showcase it.. it's show biz man.. watch louis ck interviews, chapelle interviews, etc. they all do it to some extent, the only difference is that aziz is not that good at making it seem unrehearsed whereas other comedians are a bit better at making it seem more spontaneous which it is never. he's still young though so he has lots to learn.

  • watch aziz ansari-harris and aziz ansari-kanye west its the same thing as this interview almost exactly

  • not a bad way to spend 8 minutes lol

  • Raaaaaaaandy with 8 A's!

  • thumbs down.

They all do that. Use thier material during the interveiw. They even rehearse it sometimes

  • a ton of comedians use their material during late night interviews. aziz is no different

  • Hilarious

  • That movie has been out since November...sharp, real sharp.

  • how did a guy go up to him in bar and know to say randy...when the movie didn't come out yet...0_o

  • he was doin the character already on stage

  • because he thought he was raaaaaaandy the stand up comedian nit aziz

  • i do believe he used a character he had already created

  • hes awesome

  • hes gripping the chair like "i gotta GTFO of here ASAP"

  • I don't think russel peters is that funny and why would he not talk about being a muslim indian in the u.s. just because he took heat from it that is what comedy is all about he shouldn't be playing it safe he is a comedian he should be controversial

  • Fat, brown and on the ground!! Hahaha

  • RAAAAAAAANDY. with 8 A's

  • yeah i know he is a disgrace in India but why he wasn't even born there and all he did was make fun of his own cousins

  • its because he used to make a few religion and ethnicity jokes about how his life has been different being a muslim indian in the US, but he got alot of heat from that, so he decided not to talk about it.

  • @vicarious he is 500X funnier than Russell Peters, in my opinion, because he doesn't use the indian accent as the punchline to all his jokes.

Russell Peters is funny... Aziz is hilarious. And stars in a TV show.

  • burn notice wins

  • Man, I feel for Aziz. I live in South Carolina, went to the same school as him, (those people are jerks btw I only lasted two years before I bailed to go to another school) and our parents worked together. We're ages apart and I've never met him in person, but one of the people who used to work with my father told me to check him out. He's really funny. I had no clue he was this popular. ;)

  • he said kanwe...

    anyone else hear that

  • @popcornluv911 lmfao yea i heard that too

  • yea i did

  • @Medication102 You don't know funny your probably a Larry The Cable Guy and Dane Cook fan.

  • DIE!

  • Hey you guys, if you are in the Chicagoland area on Feb. 27, I have arranged a show for Aziz Ansari at DePaul's Merle Reskin Theater. Buy tickets there the day of and you will get to see him...LIVE!

  • Heyy... Do you know if it is possible to buy tickets for Aziz ahead of time? Any website or phone number?

I know the show would be sick, but I don't really wanna take the chance of getting there and it being sold out.. Thanks and good job at booking him. He's funny as hell

  • @marcgoblue14

there is no way to get it ahead of time, unless you know a depaul student who can buy it for you. sorry.

  • he pretty much just gave him his standup act while sitting down...

  • @krazyliger ...yea man, i dont get why he had to do that..ive seen will ferell on shows and he does stuff nobody even sees coming..i like this guy but he needs to come up with a small skit before he goes on each talk show

  • its good to see a successful muslim

  • @bkakaak47 haha why do you say he's muslim...

  • @thedesperate4eva erm from his name maybe

  • he's not muslim. his parents are hindu from india.

  • @mtnlogistics aziz is a muslim name , why would hindu parents name their son with a muslim name, hes muslim

  • his name is aziz ansari...thats arabic...hes probably a muslim indian, not all indians are hindu

  • aziz is hilarious! just got his new dvd and i love it.

  • i was not being sarcastic but I can tell why you might think I was. Thanks for the advice. I can't use the I'm only 14 excuse anymore, explaining why I'm so unfunny now is because I always had an unevolved sense of humor. But I don't think that's true. Bill Hicks, Aries Spears, Dave Chappelle all started standup at 14. Sure work needs to be done but i think if i experimented a little then I could make an effort

  • he's gotta start writing different material for talk shows because it's disappointing hearing the same jokes from his set on talk shows

  • maybe you're just watching the same talk show over and over...=]

  • i completely agree. Aziz is hilarious but thats a huge flaw

  • Aziz has become one of my favorite comedians; after watching his dvd I have been surfing the Internet looking for all kinds of interviews and clips to learn more about him and see more of his standup. I definitely recommend seeing him live and getting his dVD :)

  • Fat brown and on the ground. Thats the shit.

  • ok so what was the funny thing about it? this dude make face like he smoke some cheap weed

  • burn notice is an amazing show though!

  • @GUCCImontana420 I know, a fuckload of people watch Burn Notice, I think their last season finale got 6.7 Million Viewers, real talk

  • @ILoveGoodFellas straight up, michael westen is a badass

  • Ha. this came way before the comedy central stand up.

  • Hes using jokes from his comedy central standup.

  • Most comedians don't actually have a whole host of material on the ready. They make material and use it around at different places to see if it plays well and perfect the timing of it. It's standard. Chris Rock used a few jokes from his Kill the Messenger special on late night shows before the DVD came out so. It's something comedians do.

  • you are knowledgeable. Honest question, and I know I'll sound like an arrogant asshole saying it, but so be it. People used to refer to me as being supposedly hilarious. And whether or not this was a legitimate attribution, I could make people laugh hard. Then I got diagnosed with a depression and im an unfunny stupid mind-numbed Prozac robot. If I took pot, would it make me have at least a remote sense of humor, or just make everything seem funny.

  • i bet he smokes weed

  • mad weed

  • kanye west is a gay fish

  • RAAAAAAAANDY! notce the 8 A's

  • uts ashame hs re using his jokes from his dvd stand up =(

  • i love aziz ansari

  • at 7:47 look at his eye omg that was wierd lol

  • you know this clip is blocked in India??? wtf whyyyyyy he didn't say anything bad!

  • @vicarious because he is a disgrace in india apparently I dont know why dont ask me ok.

  • Write some new shit son!!!

  • this guys funny, but he needs to write some more shit..

  • He did his stand up routine, sitting down this time...who does that? Still love his work though

  • This is an exact replica of his stand-up show. You can tell he feels guilty.

  • i was thinking the exact same thing ...

  • Comment removed

  • thats exactly what i was thinking

  • He didn't spell RAAAAAAAANDY right (it has 8 A's

  • hes better than adam sandler and will ferrell combined. those guys are boring, this guy is far more talented and interesting.

  • He keeps using the same shit. it gets kinda old.

  • i know....hes funny....but its lame to keep sayin the same shit

  • okay so, someone said to pause it at 7:47 and yea i did it and it is hilarious...but what i wanna know is how did THEY know to do that!?!?

  • haha yea that is funny... watch it again you can see it without pausing it too

  • yeah he uses the same shit.

  • Lol "Kanwe" Fuckin' Jimmy

  • damn, everything he said was jokes that he said on his tour.

  • @dreamsindogyears That's usually what happens when comedians come on late night shows.

  • Harris goes to my school i met him today lol.

  • freshhh

  • Aziz is hilarious, but I hate it when comedians just do their rehearsed bits on talk-shows. (as a guest - not at the mic) Dane Cook does it too, but his arn't EXACT copies of what he does on stage.

  • Pause it at 7:47 LOL!

  • HAHAHAHA!

  • whoa his other eye is barely closed

  • hes really funny.

but i hate watching jokes i already heard.

  • i love you aziz <3

  • he was good, but the crowd was weak

  • Jimmy totally says "Conway" a little before the six minute mark.

  • Ahh, I love Aziz! After I saw him on Kimmel I checked him out, his new CDs out and he's streaming it online for free! For whatever reason I can't post the link but if you're interested PM me and I'll give it to you, it's hilarious!

  • although the same material.

they're always building a fan base. the same people watching kimmel may not be watching the other shows he's been on. new fans can connect because they're like, "oh, i saw this guy on kimmel and he said..." both of you can connect on the same joke that was said.

  • @doctorsizzle Very true

  • lol he's also wearing the same suit

  • Aziz Ansari, Very funny great comic love his comedy great work!

  • good shit

  • Pudgy Padji.

  • he is soo funny...i died laughing when he did that r kelly impression!

  • im assuming its normal for comedians to rehash their old material?

  • Comment removed

  • literally the same exact jokes as his comedy central special. A little disssapointing

  • He was promoting his special.

  • @JTONE1212 lol i know

  • still funny as hell tho

  • yea i know they all recycles jokes. it was just kinda disappointing cuz i watched his standup then this and it was the same jokes.

  • I'm watching his standup premiere on comedy central as I type, and he just used the "white people must feel good all the time because of the movies" joke. he's pretty funny but disappointing since he recycles all of his jokes

  • dude, every single comedian in the history of forever recycles jokes. you just have to wait till he writes new material

  • exactly.

    people dont understand that.

when he has a new tour.

guarantee hes gonna have all new material.

    thats how every comedian is.

  • Comment removed

  • i lost a little respecct for him because evenrything that he says is from his tour

  • That's like complaining that a musician played the same setlists at two concerts in the same tour. He's not just going to make up new material for EVERY concert. That would be impossible.

  • this guy is funny as fuck!

  • I love Aziz. You Rock!

  • hilarious! I love Aziz. I can't get enough!

  • Wasn't he the guy from scrubs?

  • S S S SYPHILIS.

  • RAAAAAAAAAAAAANDY

  • Fat brown and on the ground. LOLOLOL!

  • If you don't think this guy is funny, your sense of humor blows.

  • didnt they switch his show for connan' O brians????

  • @MrKomKast cus you don't get his sense of humor

  • It must suck interviewing people who are so much better than you are at your own trade. Fuck Jimmy Kimmel

  • why are you so mad at Jimmy Kimmel? I bet you're pissed he's way funnier than you are I mean c'mon, you can't even be funny on youtube, and it's anonymous, you could say anything you want. Too bad you suck dude. haha suckaaa

  • aziz is funny as hell and seems like a real good guy. nice suit too

  • i love this guy so much aziz is hiliarous always cheers me up =)im so glad theres more parks.

  • Saw him in Seattle, he was so fucking great. Favorite new comedian by far

  • From my hometown, went to my high school, and his dad is a still a doctor here.

  • This guy is actually really funny.

  • RAAAAAAAAAAANDY

  • sharp suit.

  • He was wearing it in some GQ article I read about comedians & wool suits, they were all pretty sharp.

  • I went to a taping of his comedy special in LA last week. Can't wait to see him in Funny People!

  • i noticed stuid shit like this.... Kimmel calls him "Konway" lol.... 5:50

  • He looks like his jimmy norval character from human giant.

  • every single talk show appearance ever is prepared for & lots of people still manage to clunk it up

aziz remaining calm and funny automatically puts him ahead of the curve

  • Aziz is a trip, and that movie looks like it could be screamingly funny. I'm looking forward to catching it.

  • what did he say his name is? sounded like awe geez I'm sorry

  • Aziz rocks, I just saw him last night at his DVD taping and he killed it! Funniest standup comedian I have ever seen!!!!

  • haha everything he says is hilarious.

  • "WHAAAAAAAAT?? IGOTTACHANGEMYFACEBOOKSTATUS!!!!!" I love it.

  • O M F G THIS GUY RULES!

  • thats true remember when he called india filthy while interviewing melinda carlisle. im a fan but i cant believe some of the stuff hes been saying lately.

  • he did? can you tell me about the URL of the clip where he did?

  • he pretty much answers the questions with the same bits he uses during his routines and or blogs about, but that's cool. I still find it funny, now he's just using the material to reach more of an audience who hasn't already seen him live.

  • This is all a routine. Jimmy Kimmel is asking him these specific questions to help Aziz Ansari in setting up preplanned jokes. Jokes which Ansari had created personally.

  • Yeah! I KNOW that.

  • good for you, but the other guy this response was originally for didn't.

  • exactly @ cbg85

  • just like an actor/actress are being asked about their upcoming movie..

  • That 'preplanned' thing is called spontaneity and wit. You wouldn't know.

  • Some of it is improvised, yes. But what I'm saying is Aziz Ansari already knew the majority of the questions Kimmel was going to ask him and had prepared for them. Walterreally, I'm not attacking him. Apparently many of you think my comment was negative towards the interview, but really I was defending him and Kimmel. Did anyone bother to glance at what Simonistic wrote before reading to my comment? Because that's who my response was initially for.

  • haha

  • Same routine as his stand up

  • he's freakin awesome...

  • he's awesome :)

  • He;s hilarious

  • He was born in Carolina

  • i used to watch las vegas.....

    lol

Aziz is great in every role he's in

  • wow this kid is brilliant!

  • Everything I've seen him in has been the bomb even more with him in it. Heck, he even made Kimmell funny for 8:08...
