  • where are you from?

    I thought I had a strage accent!

  • haha u remind me of the dudesons so much XD

  • I have an scalloped guitar too ^^ but mine is a JEM 7VWH n what u say is completely right, i've heard those people who said that scalloped neck kinda gives u special power to play xD crazy people, it just gives u more control over strings..btw ur sweep pickin is great man keep rockin

  • did you see the string move... its like a lot

  • sick

  • Put it in Drop A and play some Nile! Great work dude, seriously!

  • " I WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING NEW THAT DIDNT HAVE TO DO WITH DRUGS"

  • i know some1 who talks like him

    and is good in guitar

  • are you gay?

  • @pilotoatomico haha man you are awesome!!!!!! fuck all those haters! rock on bro

  • @alex420ism Molotov is a sick band broo

  • your a pretty clean guitarist man!

  • stupid thing to do when you have jumbo frets.

  • Nice vid. What conditioner do you use? :P

  • Thanks for uploading this video, I found it very useful :) - I've been wondering about scalloping my own guitar but was worried about the whole 'scalloped guitars are really hard to play in tune' issue

  • man, u suck !

  • @claw7755 i did suck then im gonna admit it

  • @claw7755 no he doesnt

  • YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE OUT MUCH WOOD TO SCALLOP YOUR NECK,( JUST REMOVE ENOUGH WOOD, SO YOUR FINGERS DO NOT TOUCH THE FRET BOARD) ,,, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO READJUST YOUR TRUSS ROD,, UNLESS YOU TOOK AWAY WAY TOO MUCH WOOD FROM THE FRETBOARD...Luthier. Skip Runnells

  • @runnellsguitars I know bro, I didnt even measure anything, I just grabbed a file on a summer day and started doing it u know...by eye.

  • you can never go too deep. ;)

  • @DJsqueely mandingo can

  • LESS TALK MORE ROCK

  • how does the action behave on a thin neck like an ibanez when you scallop it? i am really into the idea of scalloping one of my necks, but just not sure if it's better to do it to a thicker neck so that the action doesn't raise up. have you noticed this at all or not really?

  • @minorthreat141 well after ur done scalloping the neck u should do a few truss rod adjustments to have the perfect relief after taking out so much wood

  • uv only been playing for 2 years? what is this madness?

  • @pippynugget ??

  • Your awesome.

  • Good playing. Not often you see any young guitarists who can pull off the stuff you're doing. Keep it up.

  • that was some insssaaaaneee shredding \m/

  • How easy or tough is playing chords on that ?

  • @coffeeflush if you already have a light touch it shouldnt really affect the tuning or anything. Only dudes that got really big hands and really dig into the strings are the ones that complain

  • Moustache at 4:58 :P

  • Have you been smoking a little Haze.? ;)

  • do that to your dave murray guitar

    just kidding

  • This guy is stoned as shit.

  • You need to practice...

  • @shnakle1 LOL I know, this video was shitty as fuck. And getting used to the scalloped neck was kinda weird.

  • @shnakle1 his explaining "big" time! the playing is ok but damn learn how to explain something.

  • YOu seem like a cool dude

  • Awesome dude, I scalloped my Jackson King V a few years ago now I scallop any guitar I get, are you the same way?

  • @DMC12man no xD I only have 2 electrics, so I scalloped the ibanez. The fender is staying original.

  • @pilotoatomico

is getting used to a scalloped fingerboard worth it?

  • @pilotoatomico I would've scalloped the fender like Yngwie Malmsteen xD

  • LOL - HELLO, MY NAME IS BRUNO!! ahaha, no, just kidding...

  • Comment removed

  • they alway play yngwie ;)

  • So tell me if the frets are kinda small on a guitar wouldn't this kinda fix the problem and simulate bigger frets if I'm EXTREMELY light on the scalloping? I don't want to refret one of my guitars because its too expensive to do so.

  • @Maxpound technically yes, u might have to refret the guitar after a while though.

  • @pilotoatomico All guitars gotta get re-fretted after years of heavy playing. The guitar I'm talking about is an Epiphone SG guitar my friend gave me. I got some AWESOME pickups in it and the frets are just bad. I can play it but I want to play it with a lighter touch. If it works out well then I might just do it to my other axes. Thanks for your response though its greatly appreciated.

  • @Maxpound Well you should get your frets recrowned, in other words a full set up. If u send it to a luthier or something they will do it for cheaper than a refret, and then u can do the scalloping yourself?

  • Thanks bro

  • Did the binding in the neck make it harder to scallop plz reply cause I want to do this to my ibanez too

  • @559wacko not really. Just use softer files and sand paper to soften up the frets. DONT GO TOO FAR ON THE SCALLOPING! about 2 milimitres is more than enough, in fact 1.5 is good enough

  • Up the irons!

  • @maidenfan19994 up the irons for life, check my other videos

  • You're high right??? hahaha just joking.

    Cool video by the way.

What you said about the "going out of tune" is really true, those rumors, starts with noob's guitar players who say that to other noobs guitar players, so so.

    Again, Cool video haha.

  • something new that didnt have to do with drugs lol

  • man.i had a ibanez rg321 with normal fretboard and still had the problem with the E string:Dgreat playing btw!:-bd

  • @vedersbyrd the only way to fix the problem is by raising the action. But im not willing to do that. I would rather train my brain to not bend downwards lol

  • this is sweet
