Israel doesn't want peace. It's been 62 years of warfare. At any moment during those last 6 DECADES, Israel could have unilaterally declared a Palestinian state and the borders of Israel. Israeli textbooks up until 2006 taught school children that the West Bank was part of Israel, and the Palestinians were invaders.
