  • @FloydIV derp.

  • I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT BECAUSE IT'S STUPID AND WEIRD BECAUSE IT TASTES AWFUL AND SOME OTHER KOREAN STUFF ARE REALLY RARE TO AMERICA SO LET'S STOP SPREADING IT AROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ha :) .. with that music in the background and you talking with such calm, I thought I was listening to a fiddle ... LOL

  • The only Illinois Ginseng permits availible...

Ginseng Grower- allows any person to engage in the propagation and harvesting of cultivated ginseng.

Resident Ginseng Dealer allows any person to buy wild or cultivated ginseng from harvesters, growers or other dealers for resale to exporters or to other dealers.

Non Resident Ginseng Dealer allows Non Residents to buy ginseng in Illinois.

None of these has anything to do with wild harvesting and selling your product...

  • I thought for Illinois you only need a license to sell or commercially grow it...not to pick it...if you plan on using it yourself your fine...

  • from 214 to 221 are you going to dig that hickory lol MT DAN

  • That most certainly is ginseng they are digging, and if you know what you're talking about you should be able to tell the general age of the plant. One of the plants that he filmed was not ginseng, because he's knew and didn't know exactly what to look for. MRBrainJross, I envy you, and let me congratulate you on finding a 5 prong. I dig 5 prongs in my dreams all the time lol. I've been digging 3 and 4 prongs for 16 years and have not found a 5 prong yet. You should know how lucky you are. :)

  • @jrbarron42 I used to dig, but haven't now in about 30 years. One morning I found 2 five prong plants. These are the only 5 prongs that I have ever seen. I had an uncle who had dug all of his life and said that he had never found one. Anyway, good luck, hope you find some 5 prong

  • In Ind it has to be 4prong or 5 b4 we can dig it. Last yr found a rare 3foot 5prong that had to b a good 50yr old plant I should have took a pic of the root :D

  • No need for a license in INDIANA to hunt dig and sell ginseng. TG and you dont find it as much on flat land here mostly in a hilly area with wild fern and near paw paw trees.

  • Yep that's Illinois all right. Corn and soybeans.

  • lmao that is not ginseng. we call that fool sang here in wv.

  • I need to know who's got that serious "FUNK" when it comes to ginseng. Where can I get quality ginseng!? Who's reputable as a supplier , brand, and/or manufacturer. All keeping in mind that I am far from rich!!! HOLLA' AT ME FOLKS , PLEASE , I HUMBLY PLEAD FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE!!!

  • some pills i bought, with rosenrot, ginseng, and shasindra made me so hyper i only slept for 3 hours, wanked of 5 times, worked out with heavy wheights and then traveled 3 hours with bus and went to school. It ended in a 3 day long super migraine headache tough...

  • Ginseng makest the seed of men runeth-17th century herb lore manual

  • Ginseng makes you trip balllls

  • Lol, no it doesn't.

  • Ginseng makes your body strong and you eat the root in soup with meat.

  • im chinese and asians has alot of ginseng my dads cooks with pork meat in a soup and its so good

  • no it doesn't lol

    ur funny

  • After you say the words "a license is required to dig ginseng up" the picture you show of a plant is not ginseng. It looks like a sarsparilla or a hickory. you can tell because the anterior leaves are separated front the front three. Also, you cannot tell how old a plant is by how many prongs it has.

  • Yea I think you are right..

  • @cwalte03

Umm silly ass THAT is ginseng he was showing same as it is here and it selling close to $400 this yr. And yes u fool you can tell the age of a plant by its stem and leaves IF you cant get out of hunting it cause you dont seam to no what the hell yr talking about.

  • You have a great voice for telling a story, keep up the good work. Nice to find this I grew up in IL and now am an herbalist in Tennessee Ridge TN. Thanks!

  • nice gin patch

  • i remember looking for days only to find immature plants...then one day i got luck (5 roots totaling 1lb)

  • theres alot of that shit every where in the woods

  • My grandfather hunted ginseng in the woods of Indiana for many years. He would have a whole back porch filled with the root at any one time, drying it out before packing it up and shipping to China. Very few know of it in IN, although it's very prevalent, and my grandfather and uncle both were experts at "sang diggin."

  • Sansam is the best of best.Sansam is superior to gingeng(insam)

Sansam grows in the deep mauntain in only korea and it founded by accident! NOT cultivated, Ginseng is cultivated !

  • One thing is for certain, a Chinese buyer won't pay as much for ginseng from Illinois compared to proper Appalachian.

  • ginsenf ended up selling for 1000$ a pound in virginia at the end of 2007 digging season

  • There are different types of ginseng, each looks slightly different.

  • ive dug ginseng all my life guys. ive dug a pound this year. its 625 a pound. i can tell you that is 100% ginseng. no question.

  • The guy showing us the stuff has dug these plants and sold the roots to ginseng buyers. They probably are ginseng.

  • I don't think those are ginseng. I plant ginseng myself. I think you guys been drinking too much of that moonshine, those plants are not ginseng...may look like one...but it's not

  • LOL, your a moron.

  • it is ginseng.you would know this had you seen it.
