Then there are licensed copies of the HK91 (like the SAR-8, the Century Arms Centurion 99, and other variations). I refer to these as "poor man's HK91." And then there's the CETME which pre-dates the G3. I've often wondered why the HK53 (5.56) never caught on like the G3 and the MP5. Before the MP5, there was the HK54.

In video games (other than STALKER, Project Reality, and maybe a few others), grenade launchers are portrayed as devices of guesswork. In reality, a skilled grenadier can be very accurate. Spetsnaz grenadiers using a Kostyor launcher can launch a VOG-25 at a high arc (like a mortar), then load another and launch it at a low arc causing both VOGs to hit the same target at the same time.
