If i was in charge of making a sequel to Tales of Symphonia, I'd make a prequel instead: Basically the story of Mithos the Hero, and how he brought an end to the ancient kharlan war. Before Lloyd was even born. You get to play as (younger) Mithos, Martel, Kratos, Yuan as the main party (among others) and live out the story of origins of half-elf discrimination, the war, the creation of the giant kharlan tree. Everything that leads into Symphonia 1.

But I like this game too, so no complaints :3

It kinds of bores me that characters have to develop through the stroy, I mean, the develop for Emil is obvious even without playing the game, he will be the super hero who is always saving the good people from the bad people without caring about risks, seriously, nothing I haven't seen in Tales of. But his voice will be the same insecure one, and is a pain to see that the Ichigo voice (Ratatosk Mode) is WAAAY better for him.

True, but at the start of the game, Emil does have a good reason to hate Lloyd, or at least he THINKS he does...

...he thinks that Lloyd is the one that slaughtered his former town and his parents (which is why he's now living with Aunt Flora). If I were in his position, I wouldn't like Lloyd very much either.

However, Lloyd isn't REALLY the one who wrecked everything. And there's a good reason the culprit looked like Lloyd.

If you choose to swear, Emil swears allegiance to Lloyd the Great, but he does it very flatly, and the bullies can tell right away that he doesn't really mean it. They make him say it louder, so he does, but it comes out angry, so the bullies still obviously aren't convinced.

The rest proceed normally.

I believe it's a step towards the bad ending. Depending on your choices throughout the game, you get either the bad ending, the normal ending, or the good ending.
