Ok let's get sumthing straight here surf wax is sticky ,butter is deadly on hot days ,skate wax is smooth but very expensive, candle wax is cheap an mediocre smooth, but if u wanna float on th ledge use soybean cadle wax it's cheap, slick as skate wax ,not food but make sure to bring a bag to put it in not jus ur pockets

I finally learned crooks haha. The key to them for me is (I'm goofy foot) to push out my left foot like a noseslide and sit on the ledge more. I'm pretty stoked bc I got them really good now even with variations out (fakie, pop out, shoves etc). Having lots of wax helps too!
