Wipe down method has worked for years. No damage to your humidor if done properly. Why wait 14 days.....only 2 days when you wipe down your humidor with the same results. Although I guess your not selling distilled water, your selling Boveda packets thats why it must be better...................
@CIGARSTARCA "Wipe down" only worked because there wasn't a better option before Boveda. Countless numbers of humidors have been ruined by the shock of liquid water. And "proper" is different in every case. Then came Boveda, taking 100% of the hassle and risk out of proper seasoning.
