I live most of the time on the opposite end of that issue. Living in Florida, we have very hot very humid summers. my smart has done a really good job during the summer keeping the interior cool when it is roasting hot outside. I'm certain the small cabin has a lot to do with it, once the recirculating air is cooled off, the system balances it self with a mix of fresh outside and recirculated interior air. Running the A/C on max does dig a bit into the MPGs.
@smartcarfor2 I have found that tinting my side and rear windows ( a little darker than what is legal) has made a huge improvement on getting the best out of the A/C in my car.
Using a thermometer has been the only way I've been able to prove to myself that it works in my cdi. The little heater is so small it's almost like trying to warm the car with a hair dryer. lol

@huronlad my smart.. a 451 gas, the AC is amazing. even if it is 100+ degrees, the ac cools the car in no time

I could always feel a difference between the booster being on or off but it is nice to have some physical proof it does something.
