lol @ the ppl saying this AT sucks...

The reason y its good is cuz it allows ur character to pivot around and be facing backwards... which is good for charcters with a good BAir or if ur a Diddy that wants to whip out a nanna of edge and give urself some more options... It helps out alottt if ur a diddy... so if ur not diddy and u think this AT is useless... THEN DONT USE IT... plain and simple...

#1. This isn't an advanced technique. Then again, not much in brawl is.

#2. This is just a walljump, but you just jumped really early. The Doraki Instant Walljump is an actual AT.

#3. This was discovered back in February of '08.

#1. Do you consider wall jumping an AT? He's doing nothing but this. The fact that he's doing it off the edge faster doesn't change that.

#2. A wavedash is an airdodge towards the ground. The mechanics aren't supposed to resemble an AT. The effects are. Moonwalking just requires you to do a half circle turning of the control stick quick, but the effect is a reversal of run.

This is just doing a technique faster then usual. Comparable to a short-hop as opposed to a full hop.

If you can't see the application for multiple characters being able to jump to the edge backwards instead of forward, in the same amount of time as an edge hop, then you seriously need to rethink how you play this game. Options are everything.

This is a completely different technique than a regular (telegraphed/easy to read) wall jump.

Oh yes, because the ability to do a bair rather then a fair (in actually MORE time then it does to drop off the edge and jump on stage) is essential to the metagame. This is as much of an AT as the CraqWalk. And also this is easy to read as well.
