Review: Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner

I think it depends on different hair types because it gave me completely opposite results!! Since ive been using this shampoo my hair has incredible shine and is very silky! But i dont use the conditioner i use Aussie 3 min Miracle instead! (:

literally worst shampoo I have ever used! I am obsessed with my hair and I constantly get compliments on my hair and I use moroccan oil on my hair when I leave it naturally curly so I thought I would use this shampoo and it made my hair feel like straw! If you experience dry hair use moroccan oil brand because it does wonders for my hair and my hair is always very soft!!!

i used the one and only brand of argan oil shampoo and conditioner and the same thing happen to me!! my hair tangled alll up and then when trying to brush it out it broke off in chunks!

I use the Moroccan Conditioner not the shampoo, I just substitute the shampoo with brown sugar 3 times a week mixed with the conditioner. Products vary from person to person, in this case Pantene conditioners and shampoo do what this product did to your hair. Sorry to hear you disliked the product, lol. I hope you go back using your previous hair shampoo and conditioner~ Thx for your review ^_^

you should use dove! it works soo well! and pantene is really bad for your hair, because it clogs up what your hair grows out of and makes it fall out, that happened to me, the only good pantene i think is the strengthining one

If its renesing maybe its helping ur scallp push out ur old dry, damaged hair n letting ur new hair come out. I think ppl are just used to products that make ur look n feel good with out actually making healthier. Like a mask, it just makes u think its bettsr till u try a product that is actully going to do wut it says u think its the product but its just ur hair without the mask. Get it?

This stuff works great for me. But not the argon oil one. I only use argon oil in the little bottle. Its AMAZING. in shampoo it seems to make my hair act all funky.

I have really long curly hair and it gets sooo dry... I love the Organix Shea Butter shampoo and conditioner and the Moroccan Argan penetrating oil afterwards. It really moisturizes my hair. Because it's sulfate free it took a couple washes for me to get used to it but now I love it! Maybe try that one , your hair looks great and healthy by the way. Good luck!

i use the cocoa butter shampoo it is amazing! i have short hair though so it tends to get oily easier and i find the shampoo actually cleans really well, but i try to avoid using conditioners because they increase the oiliness of my hair so i use conditioning and repair serums when i get out of the shower like morrocan oil and the organix coconut repair oil and it makes my hair soft silky and beautiful without making it oily

These products work for my hair. I guess it depends on the texture of your hair. Sorry some of you had bad experiences. I use these products on my Brazilian hair wefts that I order online and they were perfectly. The conditioner is supposed be used as a deep conditioner. You're supposed to let it sit in your hair for 10-15 minutes and them rinse it out.

I would use it longer than 2-3 weeks it needs to blend in with the hair i use it and o habe the same problem and i had the same affects but i gave it a month and ut worked u just needed to wait.

i guess it depends on your hair..i have thick coarse wavy hair that can be very frizzy and i use the shampoo and it left my hair super soft and shiny and non frizzy. i dont use it with the conditioner though!

pantene is not good for your hair as it contains sulphates and strips your hair of all it's natural oils and leaves a waxy film on it, try Elvive it's much better. I'm using Pureology at the moment and love it. i would say that this organix shampoo / conditioner contains alot of protein to re-build and repair your hair if it has been coloured. the protein builds up and leaves the hair with a straw like texture and easily broken.

Organix line does have a tendency of using formaldehyde in their products, which is now labeled a carcinogen (including their brazilian heat spray). Check out Sophie Uliano's website for Gorgeously Green, she did an article on formaldehyde and what to look out for in all products you buy. I tried another scent in their line and after two uses gave the products away. They left my hair feeling nasty. Liked their price some of their scents, but they did not perform as advertised for me. I use the Kronos system, available at Glow website- shampoo, conditioner, overnight repair mask and 7 in 1 conditioning spray. It's expensive but WORTH IT, nothing has made my long hair feel so soft, silky and healthy. I used to use the original Moroccan Oil mask and liked it.

i've been using just the shampoo for awhile.. and it WORKS for me. my hair is so soft & shiny, and my hair is really damaged. i don't see any hair fall out whatsoever. it does have a weird feeling in the shower, like that layer of wax. but it dries great.. maybe it's too harsh for your hair?

Panteen isn't any better than moroccan argan oil, It leaves a layer of wax (not good!!!) to cover your damage, or to make it shiney,or whatever kind of soloution you bought... The wax makes your hair unstylable (real word?! maybe...) or will make it harder to style. I straighten my hair every day and it was not straigtening (miss spelled..) as good as it does now. I used a clarifying spray and shampoo, and it strips all the wax off your hair,Just thought I should tell you :O <3

@PinkBeautyBliss this is the duo i have ever used! it makes my hair ridiculously soft, silky, moisturized, and frizz free.before i go in the shower i comb my hair, in the shower i soak my hair, apply a ton of the shampoo really working it in my hair and scalp, let sit on my hair for 35 seconds, rinse, and do the same thing with the conditioner, when i get out i immediately wrap my hair up in a towel, let towel dry for 5 mins, apply the organix moroccan argan oil penetrating oil for dry&course

I swear by Mane n' Tail shampoo/conditioner. My hair used to be dry, thin, brittle, and dull.  It's now healthy, thick, strong, and shiny! It actually has grown in the last 3 weeks that I've been using it. My hair usually takes forever to grow! My hair also normally gets oily fast, but now that I'm using this line, it stays cleaner longer! I like not having to wash it every other day :D I know you have tons of others, but I highly recommend these two products.. and they're cheap! Good luck!

The key to using it is to use a veryyyyy small amount of shampoo and to continue to work it in and adding water. Then COMPLETELY wash it out. Going on to the conditioner sulfate free is better for oily hair and you also need to use very little and wash it out until you feel its out THEN rince it out again!

Wow, I was surprised to hear this review & see all the comments. I just bought this shampoo last week & have had the exact opposite experience as what you desribe here!! The smell is delightfully floral but not too strong. My hair feels amazing; better than it has in quite awhile, soft, supple, touchable. I'm extremely happy with this shampoo. I didn't get the conditioner, so I can't comment on that. One should change one's shampoo periodically anyway, so trying new things is always good!

Try Nexxus Pro-mend! It smells amaaaazing and the conditioner is fantastic and full of coconut oil which is fantastic for your hair :) The leave in treatment is good too. Also, totally fun for summer since it smells like coconut, totally beachy

I actually never had a problem with the Moroccan Argan Oil. It was one of my favorites till I switched to the Coconut one :/

Maybe some people's hair don't agree with it? My hair never shed or had major tangles when I used it and I have some massive thick hair and it's not oily at all.

But ya if you had a problem with it I fer sure recommend using the Coconut one, it's super moisturizing and smells amazing :)

You could probably just get your money back. That's weird that a product is like that though. Herbal essences is really good for my hair, which is also dry, curly and knotted at times. It is definitely my favourite.
