  • Having had severe food allergies for 60 years, I can say we have come a long way in educating the public of what it's like to be allergic to food. In my childhood, there were no "safe zones" in schools, no knowledge by anyone in schools and restaurants about food allergies. Parents, keep up educating the schools, the friends, the public!! Continue to get behind the groups who lobby for legislation that will protect your kids and get the knowledge out there. Continue educating your child too!

  • I can only imagine. I have been diagnosed with multiple food/product/drug allergies last year. I am the mother of a 3 year old and I am terrified that I'll have an accidental reaction to something and she'd be in danger with no one to help her. I also worry that she she may have food/product/drug allergies as well. A few days ago, her tongue swelled when I gave her liquid claritin (target brand Loratadine) for seasonal allergies. I'm terrified of whats to come.

  • So powerful! I wish parents of children WITHOUT food allergies could see this video and realize what we parents of food allergic children go through every minute of everyday! Thank you.

  • Such a beneficial video for parents who have a child with food allergies to watch. Good video!

  • Thank you for sharing this video. My son has a sesame, peanut, milk, soy, egg allergy and it's nice to feel like i'm not alone.

  • Thank you for sharing this with the world- it has been extremely helpful to me in realising i have a severe allergy to peanuts, dairy, eggs, tree suts, sesame and kiwi fruit. The reaction got worse each time and after watching this has potentially saved my life. Thanks!

  • Thank you for sharing this touching, informative and very moving video with me. I think it was very well done and you did an excellent job in helping people understand the seriousness and severity of peanut allergies. I would like to share this video with others as well. As a teacher, I think this video should be presented in schools to all staff members, as I feel it would be a crucial tool in helping educators and anyone who works with children understand the danger and severity involved.

  • Very well done. This video touches on nearly every aspect of living with food allergies. Thank you to every person (esp. the parents willing to share their feelings) involved in producing it. We have shared it with everyone we know. It was an emotional release for me to watch. Our 6 year old son is allergic to peanuts and milk; our 9 year old is allergic to shellfish and mustard.

  • Very moving video! Well produced.
